I usually find them in end sloughs and marinas. This was a spot I’ve fished before.

Crappies in the delta always remains a secret if you find them. That is because you hardly find productive spots and they are hard to find as they are elusive.

When hunting crappie, do you employ side-imaging on the delta the same way you do at Clearlake? Throughout the video you seemed to ignore your live-scope. Does that mean delta crappie are less mobile in the fall, generally speaking, than Clearlake schools once you find them? Lastly, why did you both abandon the double jig rig we normally see you using in favor of a single jig offering?

@aProudOG the crappies in the Delta usually are in some sort of structure. In our case it’s sparse weeds and you might be able to see a few to let you know they’re there then it’s up to you to dissect the area to find them. Live Scope does not really help in this case. Fishing double jig in weeds would just hang up even more so we use it in open water mostly.

@kenphan in the Delta I’ve only found them in the calmer slough hiding in shallow sparse weeds or in marinas around docks. How we find them is keep casting.
