Came out so nice and I love that you reused what you have. Adding one or two new pieces it’s ok. So many people on KZbin/Insta spend so much of money on new things to decorate every few weeks while they complain at the same time how much more expensive everything is. Plus it is better for the environment. I love to see all my old Christmas decoration that I collected over the last 40+ years since I moved out of my Mom’s house. It’s cozy and comforting to me. Like saying “Hi” to an old friend.

Shop in your own closet first!! I have some things I've saved over the years that, last time I did spring cleaning, I thought "am I ever going to use this--why am I keeping this?" But I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of them. Now I've used several of them and am so happy I kept them!

You have such a great flair but I did not know how to put that artwork on my TV then I watched your video and I said oh my goodness then I went on KZbin and I got tutorials on how to do it and now I am looking at a beautiful TV with white roses. You are the queen of Amazon lol, so I’m surprised you haven’t looked at the wonderful assortment of pillow covers for the older pillows on the sofa. A very large assortment, and beautiful, for every season. Everything looks beautiful, good job🍁🍁🍁🪵🪵🪵

The old pillows had lumps & bumps inside where the filling had degraded over the years. Plus they were an mixed assortment of sizes. Just needed to start fresh and I wanted the new throw pillows to be larger.

Great job Renee. I love the simplicity and I’ve been trying for years to simplify, but I am such a crazy Crafter wreath maker repurpose person and I love fall so much and I redecorate everything pretty much. I take everything off the shelves and many wall things and go to town in each room, and even the bedroom😭🎃🍁🍂 I probably have 10 bins of fall decor for my home inside and three for outside Believe it or not it does not turn out junky, but it is a process to change out all of the seasonal items each season !! Christmas is even bigger of course it takes me about a week to decorate. And then I do spring and summer as well. Those are my major changes.!!! I say every year I’m gonna simplify and I try the best that I can but it hasn’t happened yet😂 it’s kind of like therapy to me and I know I’m not the only crazy one out there !! Yours looks great 🤗

We do the same thing. We use the same stuff over and over and occasionally buy something new. This year I picked up some Luminaria pillar candles so I went and found a fall arrangement with holders for the three candles. I put it on our fireplace. I plan to look for a Christmas version as soon as the stuff comes out. Home Goods always has awesome stuff.

Changing only the table runner can make all the difference. Love that tip! And oh yeah...if I don't keep those 2 cushion on my couch covered, the dogs will just tear them up. So inexpensive couch covers it is!

If you are anything like me memory wise, when i put things away that i want to swap at a later date , i am inclined to forget that i have it so it`s a treat when they come to the surface again. A little bit of info for young parent`s, our children at the toddler stage usually have an over abundance of toys, so what i used to do is halve the amount of toys my son had, put them away and about 4 to 6 months later i would bring them all out again and swap them for the ones he was playing with, he always thought he had new toys again, mind you it only lasted untill he caught on to what i was doing, but at least mt wallet had a breather for a couple of years.

Hi! I bought that table 24 years ago when we moved into this house. It came with matching black wood chairs that were super uncomfortable. A few years ago, I swapped out the chairs for the upholstered ones you see in the video. BIG upgrade! Love the new chairs and it makes our dining room so much cozier.

Thanks! It's from Kirkland's....and I've had it 10+ years. They typically have similar things but smaller so you would have to group them together to get a pice this large. I just got lucky when I came across this one. I love it!
