Pretty sure that sliding door is installed backwards. The opening would be to the left so you could a rod in the door to keep it secure in addition to the lock. I love your videos! Thanks for the bonus.

Hmmm I don’t think so. My moms is the same , my grandmas was same way, my daughters is the same way 😂 I don’t think I’ve ever seen one with the opening on left. We all use a bar to secure it and my sliding door actually has an additional lock on it ❤️ The difference is all their screen doors are on the outside, so they don’t have to move their screen doors, like I do, to put the metal rod in place.

@@jodidunnmymessylife1847 Came to say the same thing (my dad was a glazier for 40+ years). Sliding glass doors are manufactured as either "right hand" or "left hand" . I think what you have is a right hand slider installed with the outside facing inside. (edited to confirm the handedness of the door is from the exterior perspective) Someone needs to come fix that. Residential screens are never on the inside. Youre delightfully laid back to deal with that for so long. It would have made me crazy!

Spent 6 hours pulling weeds in two sessions today in the back yard, did the same last weekend. This week was definitely easier so I know I am doing well from my knee replacement. Four months post surgery. Yes my Fall and Halloween decor is all up. Hubs let the lush backyard die so trying to clean it up a bit before winter hits.

I love fall! Yes I have decorated for fall already! 🍁🍁I don’t decorate a ton but I have some things I really like. I pulled out my fall clearance from Hobby Lobby that I got last year. I got these two gold wired pumpkins that I just love. It’s time to treat yourself to new furniture Jodi! My Chloe cat is only 7.5 pounds! I get the expense of pet health care…been there.

When you remove your trees you should get the one up front taken out in your flower bed. That way in the spring you can plant a new one! It will look so pretty! I have a redbud tree and it's gorgeous.

I just deep cleaned my small apt last night. My toddler kiddo knocked out at 6pm so I took advantage and cleaned the entire apt and all my blankets (we have a pug so having blankets on everything is a must for easier cleaning) 😂 Still waiting for a Clark and Donna woo 😂😂😂

Hi, Jodi! Boy, Flash is a little butter ball, isn’t he? But he is cute! And Clark is cute too. Funny, I cleaned my air vent too and I hadn’t done it for awhile. It was covered. So I took the vacuum to it and what a difference. Also I had ordered my furnace filters too. Time to change it before the furnace is turned on to heat. I change it twice a year. I'm finishing up a whole house declutter...a quick review of everything! We burned through carpet in our rental house...with permhssion we had a carpet company take carpet from a closet and patch it. Turned out great! Carpet in closet was replaced with slightly similar carpet...not exact match. Turns out too many carbs are fattening on me too😂...spikes insulin. Its how cattle aee bulked up for market in feeds lots...lots of grains.

Hi Jodi, My boy cat is on dry food, male cats can be picky with wet food (my vet told me) my boy had kidney/ idiopathic Hypercalcaemia..but he too drinks lots of water!...the dry crunchies will make him thirsty!! As domestic cleaner, your father-in-law ashes doesn't bother me...I have a clients whos husbands urn sits on the side in their house too...at first I was like..OH (was pre-warned when I did a house visit)... No difference to owners holding onto their beloved pets ashes... I have my cats ashes here in my lounge!... When Blue passes (hopefully years ahead) he will join.his brother and then the wishes are when I pass, all 3 of us will go together! Hi jody! I always watch your videos during my work lunch break or dinner at night. And I always enjoy them. Poor squirrels definitely have a rough life and don't we just love how helpful our four-legged family members are? I needed a big surface to try out some new folding methods today so I decided my bed would be the place to do it. Nope. Both cats thought I was laying the laundry out for them to nap on or play on. I do try to keep my clean laundry as fur free as possible. Thank you very much. I'm so glad you did this slow vacuuming. I don't know how often I do it but I would challenge anyone to do their regular vacuuming and empty their canister then do a super, super, super slow vacuuming and see how much more you get up from your carpets. It's disgustingly satisfying. Thanks for your video.

Hello Jodi! Do you have any leftover carpet from the installation? You can get an exacto knife and cut around the frayed part of the carpet and replace it with a piece of the leftover carpet. I had to do this in my house once but I took a piece from the back of a closet. Anyway just thought I would share my tip. Love your videos and your animals. ❤❤

Our kitty, Sasha, lost 3.5 pounds when we switched her over from all dry food to 1/2 wet & 1/2 dry food. She’s 13 yrs old now and much more active. The cleaning of the family room was very satisfying ❣️Love Ya❤️

I have much less fall decor than I used to. A few wreaths, and some flameless candles with fall candle rings. My favorite, an old dough bowl with artificial gourds, and indian corn piled in it. Looking forward to your decorating.

Hi 👋 Jodi. We've been in the cone of Helene and as i have been struggling for days with my "incoming pressure change" that happens when storms are incoming so not much done the past few days. The pressure makes it harder to think & to find energy. Flash knows those are fake. So he leaves your real ones alone because he knows those are important. To him, the fake ones just aren't the same😂. Yep. Soap & water has always meant clean. I like using Murphy's oil soap for hardwoods, baseboards, even walls. Lol.

Oh, how nice a bonus video! I don't decorate for fall or Halloween anymore. I just can't get around much any more. I do know about slow vacuuming & I watch Amanda & her husband on it's a crazy life! Yes, she slows how to slow vacuum! I really like her show! Our Iggy had a problem with drinking too much water also. We had her blood checked & all was fine. The dr says she has a phycalodgical problem where she thinks she has to drink a lot of water & then she's bloated & miserable. So he said we need to cut back on her water intake. We now have 2 small bottles of water by her food bowl & just give her a couple of tlbs. Every so often! Now, she begs for her water. She knows when we say wawa! Ha! She wakes me in the night, too! She gets all ready a low weight type food. So far, this is working! We just have a crazy girl, otherwise she's very smart! I love it when you love up your animals, then I know you really truly are in love with them. That's the way I am. Some u-tubers have animals but hardly ever say anything to them or about them & they've right there in the video. Ahh... sweetie is such a cutie. Maybe he's molting & then his winter fur will come in! Also, maybe since he was kind of sick with his leg hurting, it might have taken a lot of healing! I hope he gets better! Thanks for sharing. I put out the Fall decor on September 1st. Then all the holiday decor on the 1st of every month that that holiday is in. Yes. I have a little winter decor for January to put up in between Christmas & Valentines. I have been cleaning doors and the tops of doors. Will probably clean windows next week.

Edit: Flash might be having trouble with the amount of ash & taurine in his dry food. That can cause them to drink more water. Uh that spring can be cut with tin snips . If turn the chair on it's back. Any part of the spring hanging below the spring cover can be clipped at the cover/cloth level. That should prevent further damage to the floor.

I tried doggie daycare for Ruby. I watched her freak out. She wanted nothing to do with other dogs and kept going to the gate to try to get out. I had to take her back out. She's not happy if she's not with me and usually, she has to be touching me. I had to laugh at slow vacuuming. It's just the way I've always done it. Certainly not new.

Lol, how is the cat food change going? I had a diabetic kitty til a few years ago when she passed. When she was diagnosed we had to switch to wet food, and I got comments from a vet tech about our other cat eating wet food. Lol. Like do you have multiple cats? Do you realize when 1 gets something they both want something? Lol.
