Paul Walker's tribute and choice to keep going and use CGI for his face was because of Pauls brothers. They wanted his legacy to continue and they helped out with doing so. It's still a beautiful thing. They did initially want to axe the movie after Paul died.

Also the film has some nice bookends. The movie opens with "I was made for loving you" and then the spicy margarita's convo and then it ends with the spicy maragarita's convo again followed by "i was made for loving you" closing out the movie, followed by the epilogue. My favorite movie of the year. Feel sorry for the lames who couldn't have a good time w this one.
