At 9:22 there's a blird! At first I thought it was a bird's shadow, but it must be the bird itself, flying too fast for the video frame rate.

Yup! I was glad I caught it. :)

There are often lots of birds of prey catching the wind here. That's where the name Buzzard's Point comes from.

Oh, wow. I didn't know about the bridge past the stairs at Buzzard's Point. Outside of Lookout Mountain, Buzzard's Point has to have one of the best views overlooking the Tennessee Valley.

SeaxOfBeleg yup. This was the first time after many years of getting to walk out all the way to the farthest rock due to the bridge. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for your post. The views are so spectacular that I couldn’t help to watch over and over. I live in west Tennessee but I have no idea about this place until seeing video. I am planning to drive over to experience myself. Could I ask you a couple of questions? 1) How long does it take to walk from parking lot to there (assuming Buzzard point is the only place for the hike)? 2) Around what time on a day when the drone videos was taken on the ridge, 4pm? 5pm? Much appreciated.

Hi. So, first of all...Buzzard Point is definitely not the only thing to see at Laurel Snow. The place is vast with a few different trails. Laurel Falls is a gorgeous waterfall to go check out as well as many other small cascades and streams. Search our page for Laurel snow and you'll see many other of our videos here. To get up to Buzzard Point, it's probably a tad over an 8 mile round trip and so depending on your speed, it's probably 1.5 to 2 hours to get up there from the parking lot. When we were up there in this video, I'd guess it was probably around 1 or 2pm. One thing about this place...if you go on a weekend, make sure you get there early as the parking lot is fairly small and it feels up quickly. Also, the road up to the parking lot is pretty bad. Lots of big gravel pot holes, so unless you've got a big truck, take it slow to maneuver around the bad spots. If you have any other questions, feel free to DM me on Instagram. My name is AerialHiking there.

@@mikeisi Thanks for your reply. Great information. I assumed you were there around 4 pm or 5 pm because of the contrast between the gorgeous foliage and shadows.

@@DuoAPiacere one unfortunate thing, if you were to come in the coking weeks, it’s probably gonna be dry as a bone. We desperately need some rain.

Hi there, I'm writing this message because I was hoping I could get permission to use clips from this, and your Pocket Wilderness video for a video I am creating about that general region of TN. I will surely give credit to your channel and I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for reading!
