Our first trip to 🇨🇭 is in 24 days!! We purchased their Geneva itinerary and it is detailed, easy to understand & very well done. The suggestion to use the Golden Pass Express is a really good insider tip to get to/from Interlaken and Montreux - especially when coming from the Berner Oberland, and then using Montreux as a jump off to the Laveau and Gruyeres. Thank you. I never thought about that.

We will be visiting for 3 days in Oct (18 - 21), staying in Zürich, it will be our first time in Switzerland but I am a little scare since I have read that most of this days is raining. We love nature and would love to visit villages like Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwalt but I keep hearing about this passes that we need. But please start to remind tourists about the fact that Retail Businesses, and that includes most Restaurants and Gasoline Stations outside Airports and Railway stations are closed during weekends. For whatever reason - hardly anybody talks about it. But for Americans being used to shopping around the clock, this comes as a nasty surprise.
