No, he said “you’ve probably even heard of us and that means a lot”.

pete and patrick turn to sing "more than an hour" at each other in this vid (2002) and they still do it today when they perform the song, imagine the kind of bond you must have with someone to look at them every show for the past 19 years and always sing to them :))

I like how they waited ten years to upload this.

What you need to understand about the crowd reacting the way it is, they were the opening band on a 3 band tour. The only music they had released at the time was on a 2 song sampler with less than jake. This is the first time most people saw/heard of them.
@zackfountain70248 жыл бұрын
Not quite, the split EP was with Project Rocket. Both bands had 3 songs each.

nonspecificloser And why do you suddenly feel the need to be aggressive? I thought the OP was referring to something else, my mistake.

I've been screaming for a while, and I am starting to think that controlled, uniform screams can only accomplish so much. Pete may not have great technique, but it looks like he really fucking means it, which is an attitude I hope to convey in the coming years.
@Supaboy0009 жыл бұрын
+blin9999 Yeah basically there are death metal screams, metalcore screams, black metal screams, etc. Then there are hardcore/punk screams that are screams of raw emotion.

I think what makes me so happy is that I saw them perform this at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn to a sold out arena. They closed this show to a full arena and to see that progress just fills me with such pride. I'm just so happy for them.

God I would’ve loved to have seen them right before take this to your grave blew up. That concert when they played the full album at some shitty venue and the stage collapsed was so sick. I love every song off From Under the Cork Tree but they never tipped Take This to Your Grave IMO. The energy at these original shows is so dope.
