Love the country jacket with leopard flats 😍. Also the long trench looks so luxurious

Thanks Dee! I also the the leopard added an elevated touch to make the barn jacket less casual😊❤️

The most expensive items in most wardrobes are: wool or leather jackets and outerwear, silk clothing and leather footwear and bags. I tend to keep these forever, so I try to choose the most classic, timeless styles I can. I adopt trends more for inexpensive clothes like basic tops, skirts and dresses (I don’t wear trousers much, it’s a comfort/practical thing for my odd, straight shape). Fabrique doesn’t say so explicitly, at least not that I could find, but I think they might be a natural-fiber only brand, we need more of these! I bought their beautiful, embroidered-braid trimmed, white cotton/silk blend, sleeveless top and skirt set. I love it, but it’s the most difficult thing to iron I ever had. It took four long sessions, ironing the linings, then the outer fabrics all twice, to make it look presentable. I usually enjoy ironing, but doing this set made me grumpy! It’s fully lined, with cotton, I think, which is necessary for the very, very light and thin batiste or voile fabric, but it made me overheat. Nevertheless, I will look at this brand again. I love that it features many independent designers. Thanks, Sansha, love your channel❤

Thank you Kimberly! That is one of the many things I love about Fabrique - the designers use high quality fabrics which I believe is one of the main elements that makes a garment fit properly and also helps it to look very expensive (even if it’s not). One of the things that really get me excited about clothing is good quality fabrics!😊❤️

You're really good at finding the perfect brown colour in your items I got some real leather knee and ankle boots in brown last year but they were more red based brown I really want a dark neutral brown pair and the coats in this colour are beautiful also ❤

Thanks Donna! I agree, it’s actually really challenging finding a neutral dark chocolate brown that doesn’t have reddish tones. I’m looking for a pair of ankle boots this season. I will say that those red toned brown looks fabulous styled with burgundy😊❤️

I used to have cotton utility/barn jackets in several colors, I never wore a single one even once. The same for my many denim jackets, in different styles and colors. I finally realized that they are just not my style and got rid of all of them. Plus, I really dislike denim, it doesn’t feel good on my skin. I’m much more of a tailored, classic-fit blazer wearer, they just seem to give me more shape. I have them in summer fabrics, too, linen and cotton, and cotton knits for autumn and spring.

I definitely agree - I also prefer a more structured coat/jacket or a more relaxes style in a luxurious fabric like wool or leather. I think it’s the combination of very casual in a cotton fabric and all those pockets (sometimes) that I feel doesn’t work with my wardrobe 😊❤️

Hi Sansha! I love that grey blazer on you... it's stunning! Also, your makeup is on point! I bought a cropped trench from H&M a couple of months ago and I'm waiting for it to get cool enough to wear here in Texas! I can't wait as I'm so over this heat! 🥵 I have two field/barn jackets that I've had for several years and I'm looking forward to pulling them out as well. One is a wine colour and the other is denim, both of which happen to be trending now! 😊

Thanks Rose! I went really minimal with my makeup for Summer - it was just too hot and humid for more. But now I’m enjoying going a bit darker for Fall and Winter😊 I live jackets/coats so much and I can definitely understand your impatience. I had a lot of jackets/coats in South Africa but didn’t get a lot of wear out of them as it wasn’t cold enough! That wine coloured barn jackets sounds fab!❤️

I think most of us love autumn fashion best: leather and suede clothing, boots, cashmere and Merino knits, blazers/jackets and long coats, plaid/tartan and above all, layering. We all know how much that “third item” like a good wool blazer, tailored cardigan, or coat, or a leather or suede jacket, adds to an outfit. I’m happier with this autumn’s styles and colors than I have been in two decades. Most of the styles are classic, elegant and timeless, very much my style, and the colors are very wearable and basic: khaki green, burgundy/deep red, cool browns and blues, always important in my color palette. I usually have to ignore color trends, like Barbie Pink, Peach Fuzz (this summer), other oranges, purples and yellows, they’re just not as versatile, they’re hard to style and they date quickly. Gray is also an important trend color this fall, but I avoid wearing it, except for the palest versions, because I don’t think it flatters my coloring.

I agree! I haven’t been this excited about fashion in a long time - and it’s mainly because the “trends” are exciting and feel fresh but they are so wearable and for sure items that can stand the test of time (and not feel by next year).❤️

Any suggestions for a good denim jacket? For an age appropriate chic timeless look?
@styled.bysansha2 ай бұрын
I think this one from Mango is stunning. It has more of an elevated design and doesn’t feel too youthful, which I feel is the problem with most denim jackets❤️ rstyle.me/+-myKt49EfV7ixmktPq1sBA

I love the wool trench coat and wonder what your height and body measurement/ size? I am thinking either S or XS ⋯⋯⋯ i am size 2-4 with height of 5 feet 5 inches
@styled.bysansha2 ай бұрын
Hi Lucia! I’m just under 5’4” and usually a size 0-2. I typically go up a size for coats but this style is quite oversized. I’m wearing a S but could have easily gone for an XS as well😊❤️
