I just read When Among Crows by Veronica Roth and it was soooo fun! It was a little darker, but I really enjoyed her version of Baba Yaga!

Im amazed that no one ever mentions karen maitland as an author with some wonderful supernatural themes inc witches. The vanishing witch was exceptional. Audiobook book format highly recommended

Blue’s family in The Raven Boys!!-I wanted a whole book just about them!!! Love their vibe so much And someone else in the comments said this, but have you read Deathless? It’s not about Baba Yaga but she’s a prominent character and the main narrative is based on Slavic folklore (Masha Morevna and Koscheii the Deathless) but set in the USSR-it’s fantastic!

The sequel of Payback's A Witch was so terrible imo. It doesn't do the autumnal vibe (it's set in spring), it's not sapphic and the male love interest was just icky to me. There were some like drunk-scenes that made me feel uncomfy. Do not recommend, gave up on the series after that.
