So true about perfumes. We smell differently and it smells different on each person. I also find that sometimes when I turn my nose up at a scent it can to totally grow on me. Scents are powerful mental stuff.

I love YSL black opium for a vanilla coffee scent but it’s so strong that I either have to give myself a SINGLEEEE spray for daytime, or just save it for night. And I pretty much only wear it in the winter. Tried and true for me!!

Dude my friend bought the cafe oud mini, and she already has a lot of middle eastern perfumes with oud (and I’m Arab so I know oud lol). She had me smell it the other day and we both literally said grandma and old lady too LOLL. It’s NOT how oud is done!! So please don’t let that steer you away! Which is unfortunate bec Mona Kattan is middle eastern so she should know how oud is done well, but alas. I haven’t smelled the others in this collection but it’s so sad to see that I was right and it was disappointing ☹️

Oud is definitely a very intense and polarizing scent. I probably would not recommend that anyone blind buy any fragrance that is oud focused

Your grandma must’ve been a hippie. Like you said, we all small things differently. Our to me is much more of an earthy maybe men’s fragrance a little hippie. To me grandma is like powdery floral, but AnyWho I enjoyed your video. Thanks.
