My priority series for the rest of the year are basically all Brandon Sanderson 😅Got to finish Mistborn Era 2, the Skyward Series and then Wind and Truth in December.

I've got very few things planned for Fall, so far. I plan on reading Blindsight by Peter Watts in October, which is the first book in a duology, so I might read its sequel right after, if I like it. And in November I want to read The Dragon Republic and The Burning Goddess, by RF Kuang, to finish the Poppy War series. I'll also be continuing the Novels of the Malazan Empire, but I'm not sure that I can finish it in the Fall. I'll have 2 books left, and they're kinda thick (not Steven Erikson thick, but still), so idk. We'll see 🔥

The Vorkosigan saga buddy read has been so rewarding and also the main buddy read I have kept with in the discord. Which is honestly a credit to the peer pressure of the black boxes I really need to get Perhaps the Stars from my friend's garage this weekend so i can start it.

I too am reading the Terra Ignota series based on your rec! Absolutely love it but I feel like I need to do "homework reading" between each book in order to understand it better. I just finished Seven Surrenders, I'm hoping to finish the series before 2025.

I want to continue "Sworn Soldier" by T. Kingfisher as I loved "What Moves The Dead" and I don't want this author to be a one hit wonder for me. (DNFed "A House With Good Bones" and "Nettle and Bone" was just ok, 3 star read). I also did a few re-reads. I am excited for "Titanchild" the conclusion for the "Talon Duoligy" by Jen Williams. I have a few series to finish, but not sure if I have the energy this year: "The Southern Reach", "The Dreamblood Duology", "The Empire of the Wolf"...

🔥🔥 congrats on all the series progress! Ideally I’ll read book 8 of Expanse this fall, but I’m not rushing myself with that series (been reading it since 2019). Otherwise I don’t think I have many series ongoing aside from Saga and I need to reread several volumes still before I continue with 10 and 11!
