All good. Things happen and it could always have been worse. I was car camping and able to drive to get it fixed which is some thing that I cannot stay very often. Pretty good timing in my opinion. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers!

The tree's look so pretty in all their fall glory, lovely little lake to camp out on as well,, The hike you took us on was awesome with it's pretty views around the lake that is one hike id love to do. food always looks delicious no mater what you make up especially your desert wraps . as for the wolves , they are always nice to see or hear , Though kinda eerie at night. loved the video and always watching for more . Baily's and hot chocolate Mmmm, have to give that one a try usually have it in my coffee .

Christina, As always, Awesome video. Sorry I haven’t posted any comments in a while. I had a bit of medical issues (cancer I had to deal with). Now that’s that is over I wanted to get back into the videos I truly enjoy, yes, your channel is one of a very short lists of videos I watch. Have a Great day!! Kevin

Christina, Yes, your videos help me in ways you can’t imagine. You go into the areas few people go just as my wife and I go. We enjoy our privacy! We don’t camp next to anyone!! Your videos have helped exponentially in my recovery. The solitude, the areas few have seen is what I enjoy. The season here in Colorado is pretty much over for us because of where we go is getting snow. And it is only going to get deeper! So, I am building up on next seasons gear, stoves and supplies and such. Looking at what is new, trending and what works better than what I have in my pack now. Have a Great Day Christina! Kevin

So awesome to see a new place & to see you have a somewhat (except for your phone breaking) relaxing “backcountry” car camping experience! Your whole set up looked super “glamping” & fun. Great video, and super job improvising with the iPad 👍🏻😀

Your setup is nice. I've come to appreciate "glamping" myself these days, especially since adopting a second dog. My 10' x 10' car tent is a luxury I've come to love after a season of backpacking and sleeping in a little 2-person backpacking tent with 2 dogs. Wonderful that they could fix your phone on the spot. Beautiful scenery. I may have to start using "sucky muck." I like it. :)

Thanks. I sadly don’t use it often. Just too many ppl car camping and I really get used to the remote places I go to. It’s part of why winter is so great. Never as many people and you can super glamp. I’m looking forward to it this year as I didn’t hot tent in snow at all last year. Just 2 hot tent canoe trips in the fall. Since this trip I’ve purchased an iPhone 13 pro. It’ll be used for the videos after my next series, thanksgiving in Killarney. Hope you enjoy it. Cheers

I've hiked Limberlost, but didn't know about the great 'backcountry' car camping. Great way to transition people/kids from sardine-camping campgrounds to paddle-in backcountry. Reminds me of the Haliburton Forest and Wild Life Reserve in a way. Limberlost looks better. The Reserve has a lot of seasonal campsites so it is less of a backcountry vibe. Still good for transitioning newbies away from campgrounds. 😁👍

Thanks so much for the great comment. I’m glad I was able to share something new for you. There are lots of car camping sites a Limberlost some of them have 25 campsites on one lake but I’m told they’re all a minimum of 60 m apart. I believe LIMBERLOST also has backcountry paddle in sites but I have not explored those. Halliburton is all backcountry. I don’t believe they have car camping there? I also know a lot of lakes that don’t have cottages or speedboats on them in hhwt. You can check out my KZbin playlist if you want to find those, or send me a DM and I’ll help you out. Thank you so much for watching my video and taking the time to comment. Cheers!

Those mushrooms at the base of the tree at the campsite sure looked like Armillaria (Honey Mushrooms). They're very tasty, I just had some a couple of days ago, but can cause mild stomach upset. The worse thing is they can devastate whole stands of trees with their underground rhizomes. That tree may have rot under the bark. But aside from that, a great video.

What a cool place. Do you ever try fishing? Thanks for sharing this.
@CamperChristina
@CamperChristina 3 жыл бұрын
There is no fishing allowed here. I do fish but not a lot. My passion is canoe tripping and portaging and therefore I don’t get a lot of chances to fish and a lot of times I don’t want to bother carrying the gear. I do generally fish on easier trips but I haven’t had much luck this year. Cheers

I like your BBQ , What kind do you have? The brand..? That’s how my husband and I have camped all summer with our cots and A lil table. We put card board on the bottom of our cots so as to not puncture a hole
@CamperChristina
@CamperChristina 3 жыл бұрын
Nice. I like the cardboard idea. I purchased a cot for my hot tent but I haven’t had any problems with holes in the princess tent. The barbeque is a Coleman stove from Canadian tire. Cheers

Hey Christina, as a car camper with a fully self contained small 15 ft camper, would my camper and vehicle fit comfortably on that campsite? That looks like a perfect site for someone like myself who no longer can back country camp, but loves the solitude and peace of back country camping.
@CamperChristina
@CamperChristina 3 жыл бұрын
Hey! I’m not sure about that site specifically, but if you go to the LIMBERLOST website they do have specific campsites they will take trailers on. Might be good for you to take a look or even contact them. They’re extremely helpful and kind. Hope you’re able to get out there.
