I'm so terribly sorry for this chapter you're going through Lauren. Seeing others hurt, always punches me in the chest. I lost my father when I was very young. My grandmother has been battling cancer the last 4-5 years. No one really prepares us for the toll and thought of family being void from our lives. Sending you all the strength, love, and light. I sincerely hope prayers are answered for you and your family.

I just ended watching the vlog and I can relate because every time I see my dad (and uncles I have 13 uncles) I can see how he is changing physically and I have to hold my tears. My prayers are with you for your peace and wellbeing of your entire family

Lauren, I'm so sorry for what you're dealing with. Please know I empathize with where you are. Family is everything for me and both my parents are aging and with ailments....my father with Alzheimers and in a nursing home and Mom home alone now dealing with his leaving the home and health issues of her own. Watching your parents grow old is a double edged sword. A total blessing and a curse. Say strong...he needs you more than ever. GIve him grace and patience through this time. Praying for you.

My parents had me when they were older as well. They’re both my angels now and I lost them 3 years apart. It’s been hard without them but I lean on my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ everyday to get me through. Cherish every moment with a grateful heart & be there for him every step of the way is what I say. Stay present as you can & know tomorrow will take care of itself. My thoughts & prayers are with you all in whatever yall are going through🙏🏽

I got emotional hearing you talk about your dad. 🫶 It’s really hard. My dad had me when he was about 40. He has lived, partied hard in his younger years, worked hard for his family, and the time has caught up. It’s disheartening to think that one day I will live in a world without him. It almost makes me wish my husband and I would have started trying to have a baby sooner. Our little man is 5 now. Time is a thief! Life is hard. I pray you get good news from the medical team!
