Awesome walleye content as always! Had a good one pull the hooks out just the other night due to not having my drag set properly. I'm still losing sleep over it, lol.

Nice video! I was down at that spot a little over a week ago and the bite was really tough. Does anyone know why the rain and colder temperatures trigger the bite?
@absoluteunitmediaАй бұрын
A little color in the water seems to make em more aggressive. I think it comes down to visibility. And for the cold I think it triggers them to get ready for winter

Dude, what is your opinion of the Rapala Rip stop minnow compared to the Shadow rap deep and shallow, what one do you prefer ?
@absoluteunitmedia27 күн бұрын
Damn, I mean I like both. Rip stop is slightly bigger and comes with beefier hooks. But if I had to choose one I gotta say shadow rap. Caught my pb on it last fall…

@@absoluteunitmedia I have to agree, I live near Raystown lake, PA, I was getting lake trout and stripers, but I put my boat away for the winter last week, I use the shadow raps on the rivers, I want to try them on the southern end of the lake, if we get some nice days I will just take my yak for that, and early spring. Thanks for the reply and good fishing to you, get those walleye lol, I'm trying to crack the code on lake Raystown Walleye, they have been stocking the piss out of it for years, the ones I catch are mostly 28 and above. Thanks

@@pamountainmilitia3977how’s raystown lake? It’s Johnny from the episode. I’m up that way few times a year - love to fish that lake
@pamountainmilitia397721 күн бұрын
@@johnmuldoon7280 it is really good at times for stripers and lake trout, the walleys are tough but we catch them , April trough may lake trout shallow, may trough July stripers, and again in fall. I troll spoons for lakers Alewifes, for stripers just above the thermocline. on in it. stripers will also hit 4 or 5 inch Twistertails off planer boards., down around 22 24 feet. swim baits also work. the walleyes I catch are always bigger. 28 and up, I saw a dead 36 inch walleye floating on the water , not sure what happened to it boat ? it was huge.

Sick action lads 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 That looks like a thick leader you’re running! What lb test is it?
@absoluteunitmediaАй бұрын
It’s actually 80 lb from pike fishing. Didn’t bother changing it since it was dark anyways
@jasperdavenport7224Ай бұрын
Dang! I knew it was thick lol. I haven’t been able to tie anything over 40 lb. Do you crimp it?
