In my motorized kayak I ditched my 58lb LA 12v 100ah with the same in Li Time. My new New port 1300 watt motor I bought Li Time 36V 55ah. Very good choice no matter the money

biggest walleye i've ever seen was caught up here on lake temagami, ontario in one of our traditional gill nets. it was from tail on the ground, tip of the nose was waist high. weighed about 30 pounds. it would have been released, but it was dead in the net.

One is a 7’ M power fast action St Croix avid x (discontinued) rod with a Shimano Stradic 3000, other is a 7’ ML power fast action st croix avid. 2500 Stradic on that one. I might’ve had a 3rd rod out there. Bait caster is a tranx 200hg with st croix victory MH rod (“the marshal”)

I fish pa for walleye alot myself....love this channel....I make soft plastic baits....my lil gig is called baitsmiths custom plastics...got a few colors I've dialed in over the past 4 years for the Ohio river....the allegheny....susquehanna.....anyway I'd love to send u guys a few packs to use and test out...I used to use keitechs myself....ez shiners I still use because I haven't been able to find a aluminum mold similar.....but I have many paddletails and twister tails....idk who to talk to but of someone will pm me I'd be glad to send u guys some...thanks for the content !

We were on Tobyhanna first week in december. Caught some slabs that we made fish nuggets and chips out of. We had 4-6" depending on where you were on the lake.

I am told that a lithium ion charger is different from a LiFePo4 charger because it is a different technology. Can a regular lithium ion charger charge a lithium iron phosphate battery? I am getting conflicting opinions.

To my knowledge, lithium marine batteries, including this one, are almost always lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) for safety reasons. People will say “Lithium trolling motor Battery” for short but it is in fact LiFePO4. So the charger from Li Time that I mention is designed for LiFePO4. The same goes for Chargers from other Li marine battery companies.

On the lake i fish in south central PA i always used dead smelt. They would catch 10 pike to 1 for the guys using live minnows . If you have live minnows for walleyes,yellow perch or bass. Put a nice size button on your line ,especially for walleyes they will pick up the bait and lay with it. Pike make a quick run and stop to eat it. You can see how far the fish went without pulling the tipup out. No need to rush.

@absoluteunitmedia those were frozen smelt we got at a local grocery store with their heads and guts still in. We put a treble hook up through the belly then attach to the line. The smelt looked like it was swimming .

You either have to go east to higher elevation or north, then the smaller, shallower lakes will freeze much faster. There was a warm up right after this so I doubt it’s safe now…
