Have you ever thought about creating a sweeper car for the fall, a broom set up in a v like a snow plow. This way the leaves are pushed off but nothing else gets disturbed.

In this video from last year you can see the flatcar mounted blower that is used on the mainline. It was nice that day as I arrived after the crew was out. Today many more leaves had fallen and I used a hand blower for a couple hours. Then I had my own leaves at home that needed attention.

You have to very deep wallets and lots of land. They had a Blue CSX at a Grand Rapids train show in Oct 24. Looked good i can't afford the price. I was at one of these narrow gauge RR's in the 80s with my dad i forget where. It wasn't here.

The CSX B40-8 is usually at the White Creek Railroad. It is shown in several of my other videos. There was a 7.5” gauge railroad near Plainwell in the 1970s and early 1980s. There was about one mile of track. I went there a few times.
