Okay, I am back you being in softness will allow you and Carlos to be in space in a way that serves and supports and celebrates the Matriarch and each other. I had the honor of supporting and caring for my grandmother with my mom and that was the most humbling experience but also, I got some real good stories historical verbal artifacts from my grandmother and also some memories that still have me smiling today. I'm in Atlanta, so it won't be until damn near Thanksgiving, but a few of my things: cowboy boots with spurs, slicked back hair, natural gloss lips, multiple dope glasses, tuxedo shirts and jeans, custom made fedoras, unique flat shoes, alllll the tabi's, I meannnnn I could go on forever!! I love all seasons but summer. I will bring the looks in the summer but I still hate it. Fall and Winters, are my jams. Here for the sweaters, boots,, coats and the winter accessories. Just got two fur coats delivered this week from the Real/Real. Huge sales. I've been doing most of the things you mentioned with the exception of lessening the arm candy. I see some printed , floral, velvet kimonos, silk bias cut spaghetti or strapless midi dresses, cozied up with an oversized Cashmere fluffy cardigan, ankle socks and some sherpa-lined Berkinstocks. I am feeling the cuffed jeans as well as Barrel jeans, which I will be paring with some old school suede Adidas with gummy soles, oversized crewneck sweatshirts with buttdowns underneath, topped with baseball caps over flowing hair. I'll be leaning into some beige' s, jewel tones and pops of yellow myself. Lots more sets, sweat suits, and a blazer here and there. Stepping up my accessories with structed , cross-body bags, some white pointy, low-heeled boots, a pair of mid-heeled pointy leopard court shoes, a pair of refined almond-toed loafers & some over-the-knee boots. I'm going for oversized, comfort able but elevated quality pieces, fun colors & soft everything!
