it sounds like a mother lulling her child to sleep, from the child's perspective.

Fallen Down (Reprise) take no. 2! (Streaming/download links below) I wanted to redo this song from Undertale and make it a little more like a lullaby by humming along with it! I got the idea a while ago and finally got the motivation to do it when I saw the #SoundoleChillOut2020 contest announced. It was fun to revisit a song I've done before and make it a little more personal! I want to thank my friends who reassured me my voice was okay (I'm not a huge fan haha) and thank Fredrik Häthén for doing an amazing job mixing! Hope this helps someone fall asleep! ...it's crazy. I've never played Undertale but I always liked this song. I'm not a singer either but I hum a lot. This was a good rendition. Also...Mudkip?

Same. Not a big Ranboo fan either. Yes I did find it from him, but I only really watch him from time to time. But now I really want to play Undertale.

This is a brilliant take on this! Your playing is both extremely expressive and incredibly confident and clean, and the vocal/harp mix felt pretty spot on to me! It was a bold choice to move that harmonic part to the fore, but I think it really works; puts the work in a bit of a new light. This is incredibly sweet - I'll make sure Hershel gets to hear it next time we're trying to get him asleep :)

This arrangement is really something special. You've transformed this piece into comforting lullaby and it works so wonderfully! There are moments where it actually reminds me of the ending credit music to Spirited Away, "Itsumo Nando Demo". Your harp playing is absolutely beautiful and your humming vocals really take this to another world. Thank you so much for sharing your work with us!

@harpsona4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! If you're just starting out, I'd recommend looking into a lever harp as they're typically more accessible than pedal harps (like what I'm playing here). Harpiscle harps is a well known and trusted brand that I've heard many start out on! Once you have a harp, I'd recommend looking into online lessons and/or watching technique videos by Josh Layne and others.
