I dont care what fandom you all are from, i just want to appreciate how great this song is. It feels like the perfect image of the final moments of death. Melancholic, yet you are satisfied with what you have done and accept your death. Your life's ups and down play as the credits roll with people you love, hate, and people you didnt even know existed. I want to cry and smile at the same time. Its saddening but produces a lot of dopmaine to keep you hooked. I also like how the audio isnt perfect, it reflects the true nature of life: imperfect. Humans are always looking for more, if we had accomplished everything, gained control of the universe, discovered every piece of science there is, it would eventually start to drive us to madness, an endless routine of a perfect life, eventually splitting of to multiple species, and restarting the cycle of imperfection. Even down to the time span of a single minute, your brain is rushing with hundreds of emotions at once, imperfect. Imperfection and acceptance is this song, as Bob Ross said: "We need to be a little sad sometimes so we know when the good times come", and this song, is the perfect representation of happiness and sadness in unision, bittersweet, as some would say

As I walk into my old abandoned school, everything was still the same after 37 years. The lockers, the graffiti that my classmates wrote that my teachers couldn't get rid off. I walk to my old classroom. I still remember all the things that happened in this classroom, the good times... As I was staring at the classroom, I heard a faint sound echoing in the hallways, a piano I think. I went down the hallway and I realized the sound was coming from the practice room where my late friend always played all the instruments. The door was open, as I looked inside the room, no one was there but the keys of the piano were moving then they suddenly stopped. A figure formed from the seat and I thought it was demon or another spirit, but it was my late friend, he looked back and smiled at me as he disappeared. (Yes I just wrote this on the spot)

I remember lying down on the hammock my parents set up at their balcony. The sun was still bright that afternoon so I had to place my arm over my head to shield my eyes. The colors of leaves from the coconut tree next to our house looked beautiful. So did the sunlight that reflected from it. I remember watching my neighbors play basketball at the back window of our house. My parents never let me go out so I was never one to participate in any sport. Sucks how I only realized how beautiful that house was, now that I’ve moved to a new country. That house was a big part of my childhood. My parents told me they moved there just a few days before I was born. I miss my home. And I’m glad I had time to admire the tiniest details from it before saying goodbye.

Yeah I first found out the song from Ranboo. Ik some undertale fans will be annoyed because Mcyt fans don't understand the real meaning and stuff like that but people will have their own interpretation of a song, whether it be the original meaning, or something personal to them. While it is sometimes really annoying, we shouldnt gatekeep because at the end of the day, its a great song and it even led me to becoming an undertale fan aswell :]

Okay okay but like, I can hear and vison this. Toriel Playing this song. Chara and Asriel playing around, dancing, or even colouring pages together. Asgore watching them all from a chair, hell maybe even Sans and his brother watching. Soon the good memories fade, syncing with the songs faded end. It all stops, air becomes gloomy all around you, the person playing the game, remembering that not all great things last. Everything has to come to an end one point or another. With the song fresh into your memory, old and worn from possibly the recorder being old. You walk out of the beloved home to explore, taking chara with you in a form of a spirit.

Imagine just: 6 years after Undertale, Frisk alone decided to return to the Underground by falling again from Mt Ebott. After that they go right into the RUINS to re-discover what they left and when they met Toriel, Flowey and all the Monsters. After a moment, arrived at the Home, in ruins because nobody was there for a while, they go to the mirror, dusty, but no matter what happened to them, what happened to this house after 6 years without anyone: * Despite everything, it’s still you. And then the music starts while the camera zoom out of the House and escape at the Surface with the sunset.. Edit: I just corrected some things and added some details to make the lecture easier :)

I'm gonna add onto this story because I can Frisk turns their head, and looks to where the music is coming from. They curiously start walking towards it, with the music slowly getting louder. They eventually hear it coming from Toriel's old room, and they put their hand on the door knob. They go to walk inside, but something stops them in their tracks. A light shines on Toriel's old piano, and they see someone near their age wearing a yellow and green striped shirt, with brown, shoulder length hair. Frisk can't do anything but just stare in awe and listen to the mysterious person play. When the stranger eventually gets to the end of the song, they shut the piano, and turn their head to look at Frisk. The person's red glowing eyes stare into Frisk's as they smile. Frisk can't help but smile back. "Thank you," the stranger says. They then close their eyes as fades away. Was it all a dream?

It brings me back to when I could go to school stress free and talk all I wanted about undertale to my friends and we would make stupid jokes and laugh and then I'd go home and watch undertale comic dubs on the tv in my room and listen to the music on my heart locket I got for Christmas, I wish I could go back. Now all my old friends are gone and I just can't find the spark and love for much of anything anymore. I feel so horrible all the time and no matter what I do to feel happy it's only ever a temporary solution and I always go back to feeling like crap.
