What's fascinating about this, when you think about it, is that this nazi guy was the third worst person in the movie. The first, or 'group', were those latin gangsters in the car. They actually killed innocent people. They did a drive by on a street, they didn't care at all about bystanders, they opened fire and probably killed a dozen innocent people. They're the worst. Second is D-FENS, because he actually either kills directly or indirectly kills people and causes all this mayhem, however sympathetic a character he might be. And third, is this Nazi guy. He might be a scumbag, but what's he actually *done* ? Physically? Other than his awful opinions? He protected D-FENS against police apprehension in this scene, that's a sin against him. He's obviously a secret nazi (or at the very least, fetishized them) that fantasised about the holocaust, he's an awful person, but when he had D-FENS at his mercy he was going to hand him over to the cops. He wasn't going to kill him himself. Really kinda crazy when you think about it.

With scenes like this, and others throughout this movie, one might wonder "what the F is in the water out there in CA? LOL Then again. It's impossible to place a ruler on the degree of insanity. Lots in this movie's plot, that isn't in the script. An estranged wife-ex wife, a child, the underlying various circumstances, their personal lives. I once knew a guy who actually did such a "mission" without so much hollywood glorification, and killed his own ex-wife in front of his own 12 year old daughter. This occurred in Milwaukee WI many years ago, And yep, he was going there for her 12th Birthday. This was in the news, a true story. This man was a Vietnam Vet, he was "Still in Saigon". 😞

My guess is if he was around during the time Obama was running for President, he would’ve protested him and been furious when he won.

Yeah well... The store owner wasn't really wrong. Diversity isn't a Strength. It wasn't in this movie and it sure isn't now. On another note, the idea that these guys are lurking around every corner is ridiculous. That hasn't been true for decades. My entire life (Gen-X), all that most 'legacy stock' Americans ever asked was learn and speak our language, observe the social norms that made this such a safe, prosperous place that literally EVERYONE wanted in on. Oh, and you can't ALL come - that's ridiculous. But no, that's too much for these jerks.

I can see why the material is sensitive. But as a scene in cinema (especially in scenery), it's fantastic.
