If memory serves right it was Staphane Grappelli who challenged Steve Swallow to write a tune and Falling Grace came forth.

Your videos would be much better if you simply played the tunes once all the way through at the beginning and then talked about them.

Thanks for the suggestion! What I'd love is for viewers to either play the tunes through themselves before watching, or listen to a few recordings by famous jazz musicians to get a sense of the tunes. This will give you the necessary context to go deeper into the tunes via my explanations and interpretations. Either way, good luck with your playing :)
