Until a week ago I had never heard of this guy. I’m Australian and he has never been played here. I only found him as I watch a lot of reaction videos and he is currently popular because of this video and I have to say that even though this would not normally be my genre of music that this is one of the best songs lyrically and cinematographically I mean the start of it looks like Star Wars the first order and the entire music video appears to have a budget bigger than the avengers. It’s crazy Good.

As a content creator myself, I always print out a lyric sheet before I do a reaction and I may not always look at it due to fear of spoiling the song for myself but in moments like this way you want to see the lyrics it’s really handy to have them on a piece of paper already printed. just a bit of advice for the future. I’ll be totally honest with you normally I hate it when people keep pausing videos during reactions but when I first watched this video the official one I paused the million times myself and rewound it to re-listen to the lyrics just to make sure I heard them right and They are intense he is just telling it like it is and he is calling out all the cowards and the jerks who judge people without knowing half the story or any of the story this is just 100% brilliance. It’s been a long time since I have heard such a politically orientated. Music video that hits Home so accurately.

It took me a bit to appreciate the song… but that’s because I couldn’t get past the visuals. As a model maker & painter I just kept thinking (very distracting) things like, “damn, how many angel & daemon models & a Ronnie in the model would it take to make that scene?! I want to paint one!” He is speaking what Tom is but more metaphoric.

I think it’s really really sad when he says dear diary dear diary I just had another wild dream. I was in a world that admired me. The guy has had a shady past and has been in prison but it seems that he has rehabilitated which is all you can hope for in prison. I don’t know what his crimes were. I haven’t delved into that but regardless despite his opinions he’s saying pure truth, he’s saying that if he’s gonna be a jerk, he’s gonna do it to your face at least unlike all of the Internet, keyboard warriors don’t have the guts to say anything bad to anyone’s face. His honesty and bluntness is so refreshing this day and age where everyone is so politically correct that it stinks to HiGh heaven and everyone is offended by everything. the way I see it Internet hates speech through social media and political correctness could end up causing the end of the world. It wouldn’t surprise me.
