I remember when "dying is your latest fashion" was released I was in middle school and heard some of their hits from the album on myspace (I had to keep my myspace a secret from my parents, they said i was too young to have one) "situations" was one of the best songs I ever heard in my life. Because my computer time was limited by my parents I needed a way to listen to this album so I started planning how I was going to ask my strict parents to buy this CD for me(not an easy task). Long story short it cost me a Christmas gift the coming year but it was completely worth it and as soon as I heard this song for the first time I felt real emotion from a song and it began my life long journey of absolutely loving music.

I have many similarities with his story with an addict mother included, having been abused, and it does leave a mark, but the worst is when you feel like you just never get the upper hand in life.
