Ronnie is paying Homage to all of his musical influences, Btw I've heard the NF saying by nearly everyone, but remember Ronnie's been sounding this way for almost 20yrs now....Singing about his mental health, his drug addiction, his haters, etc....

Except he just now made a song sounding exactly like an NF song

@@N_FORCE_5 i guess youre refuring to prequel? Yea the start gives NF vibes but towards the end he starts singing in a way NF never could. Alot of people think NF is one of the greatest rappers of this generation. And here people are comparing Ronnie to him. So does that mean Ronnie can do what NF does plus sing and scream? Dudes the most versatile artist of all time and its not even a debate at this point
@nyctopheliaX4 ай бұрын
But if you listen to "Prequel" while also knowing that Ronnie is accusing other artists of stealing from him all the time, like Motionless in White when they released "Werewolf", it is a whole other situation. If you wanna take inspiration from artist that you like, go ahead.. but don't play the victim card when others do it with your music.. (And especially not when the comparisons are not even legit lol)

What an awesome song. The text is just awesome. "Trust in your leaders, mm," #ronnieradke, I love you for your stubbornness, for not allowing yourself to be shut up and for addressing grievances loudly. That's exactly why those you hit hate you. Dogs that are hit bark particularly loudly.

Probably the only one but because of the "stand down or fall like rest of them" line it made me think of Legacy by Motionless In White, it's also got that electronic bit (which many bands use to be fair) just that part though, I think because Legacy has that chorus "Stand up, fists up, never gonna give up" the rest reminds me of something else with his vocal style but can't put my finger on what My favorite is still Popular Monster but if we're talking only new ones that weren't singles then this one is my favorite
