For those who are interested in the topic of polygonal masonry. A number of methods for obtaining the polygonal masonry are proposed. The basis of the proposed methods is the use of clay/gypsum replicas, a topography translator, and reduced clay models of the stone blocks along with a 3D-pantograph. The results are presented in the article: “Fabrication methods of the polygonal masonry of large tightly-fitted stone blocks with curved surface interfaces in megalithic structures of Peru”. Actually avocados are not native from Peru, they were introduced in Tahuantinsuyo (Inca lands) until later when the Incas created an alliance with "The Paltas" a community from what is now Ecuador. The Inca married a woman from their tribe and they also used to exchange gifts in this process, that's how the Incas got avocados. People in Cusco loved it and rapidly spread around, the locals starting to call it paltas... Now the term palta is used in Ecuador, Peru, Chile (I'm not sure), Bolivia, Argentina and many more. And from Colombia to Mexico, people call it aguacate, which is an aztec word "ahuacatl".

Finally! Thank you so much for the upload, I sincerely hope that this series will persist, even if it deviates a little from the downfall of civilizations. You seem to have the ability to make almost any historical matter seem interesting and engaging! Keep it up, my man!

Surely there are plenty of fallen civilisations still to cover? We’ve got thousands of years of them and we’re about to add another from the look of things :)

You are a master of narration and production, very rare to find such thorough and well done documentaries, I have binged all of them so far.

We all love new episodes, but please don't fall into the trap of regularly scheduled episodes! I for one would rather wait several months for a 3+ hour gorgeous episode than have a lesser episode every month. You do you.

These are the best history videos I've ever found on KZbin, keep up the amazing work! I'd like to suggest the Ottoman Empire, Edo Japan, the Mughal Empire, Carthage, the Maori, the Kievan Rus, the Iroquois Confederation, Roman Italy, and the Mongol Empire as possible episode ideas

I’m interested in the Algonquin Confederation because they were living in my Town. The Tappan Zee Bridge was named for the Tappan Tribe and the Dutch word for Sea, Zee. Coumo changed the name of the bridge to the Governor Mario Coumo Bridge. We refuse to call it that.

I love these. I listen in the car and doing chores. But I also play on 1/2 speed and it doubles as a sleep hypnosis. Sometimes I even dream along which amazing.
