Sure a lot of ppl gonna disagree with me. I love linkin park and love chester, since their first album.. BUT the Last interview with him i watched before his death he talked about how he loves his children and how much he loves being around them and then after a few weeks he committing suicide.... He is NO hero, who left his children without a father.....

@@edinen8491 well, he is a hero to me because his voice and LP's songs kept me going. He is my hero, and a hero to many. Although his life ended unexpectedly, I'm pretty sure he loved his kids so much and would want to see them grow up, but when depression fucks with you, there's just no way out man. It's literally you against your own mind. Depression sucks ass. But his legacy will always be remembered.

Depression has nothing to do with believing or seeing or feeling the appreciation. He knew all the love from his fans and he really enjoyed it. But depression pulls you down, you are drowning and you are not able to defend bad feelings. It’s nothing you do concisely, it’s overwhelming you completely. Chester was always a funny guy, joking around, trying to tell everyone how enjoyable life is. But his mind was playing him until he saw no other way to defend his bad feelings than to end his life. 😢

Chris & Chaz they both struggled with similar demons. I'm sure it gave each of them strength when they saw each other pushing through each day and trying to stay positive. I'm sure it impacted Chester tremendously when Chris gave into his overwhelming depression. I hope all people start taking depression and mental illness more seriously and talk openly about it. I'm not sure that Chris Cornell was on the kinds of meds that would help him effectively and I don't know whether Chester was being treated with helpful meds either. They were both amazing people and artists and will always be greatly missed.

This is eerie to me because Chester takes his life just two months after this. He seems so energetic and full of life here but he's really hiding so much pain and suffering. Depression sucks. RIP Chester Bennington. Much love to him and his family. Love to Linkin Park. Love to NYC. And special love to everybody putting up a front to appear normal while being sad. Remember, people love you and you matter to other people, even if you don't know it.

fully correct ! I think Chester realised what an impact he had on people, but it put a lot of pressure on his both fragile and strong shoulders. I think it scared him, he felt as if he wasn't able to live up to a certain standard certain people set for him. Although we as fans always loved (and will love) him for who he was. A gentle, caring and humble soul, a loving father who openly spoke about his struggles...Struggles, traumas and persistent demons he unfortunately had to deal with since childhood/youth. Such a pity he took the decision to end it all...

There is an interview where Chester explains very well what goes on in his head. It's very sad, but tremendously true and sincere. "It's like there's another Chester inside of me telling me I'm worthless, that I'm an idiot, dragging me down" "When I sing in a crowd I don't see everyone who appreciates and loves me, I only see the one person in the crowd who gives me the wrong looks, and my mind goes into a crisis and I ask myself Why don't you like me? Why don't you do you appreciate me? This is depression." From these words of his you can understand why.

2024, and I'm still here watching Linkin Park videos, feeling the same chills I did years ago. It's a reminder that some music, some voices, and some souls are timeless. Chester Bennington's voice was more than just a sound, it was a lifeline for so many of us. He sang with a rawness and honesty that made us feel seen, understood, and less alone in our darkest moments. RIP Chester, your light still shines through every lyric, every scream, and every melody. You were one of the most amazing souls to ever live, and your legacy continues to heal and inspire us. We miss you, but your music will forever be the voice that guides us through our struggles. 💔🎶🕊

"In The End" [Chester Bennington:] It starts with one [Mike Shinoda:] One thing I don't know why It doesn't even matter how hard you try Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme To explain in due time [Chester Bennington:] All I know [Mike Shinoda:] All I know time is a valuable thing Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings Watch it count down to the end of the day The clock ticks life away [Chester Bennington:] It's so unreal [Mike Shinoda:] It's so unreal, didn't look out below Watch the time go right out the window Trying to hold on, did-didn't even know I wasted it all just to watch you go [Chester Bennington:] Watch you go [Mike Shinoda:] I kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard [Chester Bennington:] I tried so hard And got so far But in the end It doesn't even matter I had to fall To lose it all But in the end It doesn't even matter [Mike Shinoda:] One thing, I don't know why It doesn't even matter how hard you try Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme To remind myself how I tried so hard [Chester Bennington:] I tried so hard [Mike Shinoda:] In spite of the way you were mocking me Acting like I was part of your property Remembering all the times you fought with me I'm surprised it got so far [Chester Bennington:] Got so far [Mike Shinoda:] Things aren't the way they were before You wouldn't even recognize me anymore Not that you knew me back then But it all comes back to me in the end [Chester Bennington:] In the end [Mike Shinoda:] You kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard [Chester Bennington:] I tried so hard And got so far But in the end It doesn't even matter I had to fall To lose it all But in the end It doesn't even matter I've put my trust in you Pushed as far as I can go For all this There's only one thing you should know I've put my trust in you Pushed as far as I can go For all this There's only one thing you should know I tried so hard And got so far But in the end It doesn't even matter I had to fall To lose it all But in the end It doesn't even matter

I am a teacher of English- as-a-second-language in México City. You are so rigth in this. I was remembering about the time when I started to work at a high school, and desperate enough to get my students attention and cooperation that I played my favorite LP songs to them as a listening exercise. Total success. I was afraid that my boss, a very uptigth lady, would find them not very correct for the school, but they were so well behaved after the immpromtu concert that we didn't have any problems and I became a student fave for the time I was working there. I still use them in class and I have so much to thank them.

Why are so many people writing LINKEN park... xD, also chester had been struggling with depressions for a very long time, and he was in a really bad place since 2016 (he actually tried to kill himself in 2016 and some times before) then a good friend of his died, then his bestfriend chris cornell too, and i guess it was too much to take :( Or ofc there's the theory that he along with chris were killed by chesters true father, who people say might be john podesta, because they were fighting to help children, while podesta as famously known mightve been involved in children trafficking... so ig u decide which one actually happenef :)

There's new evidence being slowly leaked out that he was murdered. Nobody leaves this Earth without leaving a suicide note whom Fathers 6 kids, and is a Godfather to your best friend's children without saying something in writing before you go. ESPECIALLY, one of the most gifted and talented poetic songwriters ever in Chester Bennington. He would say something in writing. I'm a musician... a Musician would do that for family. Cornell and Bennington supposedly hung themselves with a Stretchy Arm Band Workout. Give me a break. So many celebrity dying off like flies, nobody bats an eye... People are so blind to see the Elites at top are keeping people shut. Does nobody even have a clue Marylin Monroe was murdered by the CIA which is in documentation. Rest in Peace Chester... you were truly the best and most honest loving person in the Music Industry.

Linkin Park was literally everything to me when I was a teenager, I was alone and bullied and abused, just a completely lost soul. I didn't have all their songs, only a couple that my sister had downloaded and I found on the computer. I'd put my headphones on and turn on the visualizer on media player and see, hear and feel their music. I can't even describe the feeling it gave me. It gave me chills though. I guess I'd say it made me feel stronger inside, validated, and not completely alone. Chester was my loud, strong voice when I had none, his passionate expression of self empowered me during my hardest times. My favorite song was Numb. This looks like it was a lot of fun for everyone and meaningful, just such a great video

Just look at Mike and the way he's smiling seeing Chester rap his parts! Oh man...such admiration! These two were friendship goals...There's so much one can learn from them...Never let their egos get in the way of their music...So much mutual respect for one another....Mike always stood by Chester and loved him like a brother and Chester was always the first one to acknowledge everything Mike has done for him....It's so heartbreaking that we've lost #bennoda. They deserved many more years of fame and love and doing what they do best - make music! Rest in peace Chester....You are missed everyday...Hold on Mike....Can't imagine what the guy must be going through.. 😢😢

The way Mike looked at Chester during the performance & the lady in the pinkish/red blazer recording in the back & shedding tears - this band is honestly the best.

It's in the middle of the work day, threw this on in a moment of procrastination. One minute in and I'm balling my eyes out. My childhood and emotional struggles from almost two decades ago all coming back to me. Hearing everyone around him singing just shows me how much this song and band meant to so many people too. I'm not religious but I thank life for bringing these beautiful people together to create music that's helped us all. I hope Chester felt our love..

You should thank God (Yah) for the gift of life otherwise you wouldnt exist and you don't need religion to have a relationship with God almighty, in fact religion separates people from God cuz all religions are bogus, even christians don't believe their own bibles which is the truth. Read the bible everyday my friend and have faith, all them childhood struggles would be healed, understand he tries and tests us as it's not automatic to get to heaven just cuz someone believes there's a God. I pray this message finds you well and you aren't all butt hurt from it. I'm an Iraq war vet suffered from PTSD and anxiety way too much over the last 15 years but Yah (God) has and is healing me and I don't deal with issues nearly like I used to. I am much happier knowing I have a God I can trust in and not fake religions. I was an atheist for several years then I seen enough proof of this world that it's a complete lie and it all goes 100% against the bible which the bible said would happen 2000 years ago. Everything taught today goes against the word of God and now children are terrible sinners by the age of 3 and it's promoted in the world which tells me an evil force exists. So pretty clear to see there has to be 2 sides, a good and an evil side. Peace out brother. Wake up from the world of lies like I did. You'll be set free
