@@mikeymike4sophie it's certainly ok but I still don't believe it. Julian is too cool and too confident to be nervous in an interview I mean he has done them before. He is the front man for one of the best rocks bands ever and they are still touring and selling out shows. He probably just said that to explain his indifference to the format/questions because honestly I think he thinks he is above it. That's just my opinion but certainly don't have to agree.

Saw The Strokes in San Diego years ago and Har Mar Superstar opened for them, such a strange choice but it was fire. Julian was so drunk he couldn't sing so Har Mar did a few songs in his place. They were so cool about it that they redid the show for ticketholders because he couldn't perform. Love em.

I think if you chill out with the psychoanalysis and just hear how concise and showing of humility he is, while being on a live show with so much going on, it might make more sense to you. He’s not being crass or cavalier, he’s being genuine and when so many people aren’t these days.

Not everyone is neurodivergent. This labelling of anybody who is creative/eccentric as having some sort of neurodivergence is toxic and glamourises something that many people have trouble with. It’s the 2020s buzzword so far just for someone who views the world a little strangely. So tiresome.

He's fab, The Strokes really made an impact. I would love it if female artists were treated the same in comments - no one would mention their looks, but the focus would be on the music/talent (as it should be).
