@@markgray6982 I saw the 78 tour and most of the tours since then. No, it wasn't that far from 70s Heart, but anyone thinking Ann is going to sound at 73 like she did at 30 is naive. The biggest difference between this and 70s Heart is Ann's voice is 40 years older and doesn't nail the high notes as well; otherwise it sounds like they always have. One other more minor difference is that in 78 Nancy played an acoustic on Barracuda which we could hear in certain spots and now they clearly don't have an acoustic playing along.

I was too young to see them during the Dog and Butterfly tour, but I've heard (and seen on video) that was the band's absolute best tour. The Largo 1978 concert on KZbin is pretty incredible. Of their 80s/90s big tours I thought the Bad Animals tour in 87 was the best they sounded. Wasn't crazy about their sound mix on the 1985, 1990, or 1994 tours but 1987 they got rid of some of the polish and sounded really heavy and distorted.

There have been 30 plus different members of Heart over the years. These guys are just the newest and some of the best ones. I will be catching this tour as many times as possible. Even back in the day when they'd appear on shows where bands were told to lip sync Ann generally refused; they'd use an instrumental backing track to whatever song but Ann would sing live. I think the only time I ever saw them truly lip sync was on ToTP, but aside from that Ann usually sang live even if the band had to fake it.

Ann's sounding great. What a powerhouse. And Nancy doesn't miss a beat. So much energy and she makes that guitar 🎸 sing, too. They are a national treasure. Glad they got back together for another tour ❤

This song came out 20 years earlier the day I was born. This song got my mom through labor & delivery 😂 I still listen to it, My aunt who passed was a big fan of Heart ! This lady is 74 and still singing her original song 47 yrs later the same way! Her vocals are crazy ! You can tell she loves her voice, she has taken care of it, and I believe she will still be singing this song until she gets called home.
