I’ve been listening to ‘Synchronicity’ again lately and yeah, one of the best albums ever made. Regarding those funny ‘vinegar’ comments that just don’t make any sense, either they’re just funny jokes, or they’re reflecting the commenters’ poor taste in music, or maybe it’s even a really pathetic attempt to bash Sting over his political views. It does sound like that kind of thing, because there are so many right-wingers who get all pissy about somebody’s politics and go trolling like idiots, since they don’t have the brains to make a REAL argument in a place where it would mean something, like when he’s actually discussing politics.

I never gave ghosts much thought until I experienced one. I was walking early in the morning as the day was about to break. I went to a local boat launch ramp to look at the sunrise when I heard footsteps approaching me from behind on the gravel, I thought it was a fisherman so I turned to face him and shone my flashlight at him. I can't describe what I saw but it ran off and I could hear it's footsteps receding. It seemed to bumped into things as it left. I also felt a chill like ice water in my veins when it was close.

Yep, it's all fun and games until it happens to you. I was pretty skeptical until I moved into this house. Fortunately, I haven't seen an apparition. I'd lose my mind. However, I've had stuff scoot across various surfaces in my house such as a wide can of spice tip itself over, a cardboard box full of books scooting across my bedroom floor and under my nightstand. I've seen books on my bookshelf shoved around. One time a cast iron dice went flying off that same bookshelf. Pots and pans get shoved around on my stovetop... The dog won't eat with his back to the bookshelf.

@@chompachangas seeing them manifest isnt that scary. I mean its scary but not enough to cause me personally any long term mind torment. Ive personally seen one manifest & grab my arm, it wasn't a ghost bit actually a demon that formed into a man with greesy pores, a beer gut & a very grumpy face.

Most people are skeptical of ghosts until they experience them. I've experienced them most my life. But some places I've lived have been worse than others. I've learned though that even places that aren't inherently haunted, I tend to draw things into and I think it's because they know I can sense them. It's weird, but I swear by it.

@@Churro_Flaminguez I would love to visit England too. I mean man there's serious history over in Europe. It's real perspective when the oldest more "modern style buildings" still around in the USA are from around 1600-1700s on the East Coast. (actually I just found an adobe Native American structure from 1000 AD -1450 AD in New Mexico) But then you go to Europe where EVERYWHERE is old school lol. The St. Pancras Old Church year built is Unknown but possibly as early as 314 CE, but most likely 625 CE. The tower of london (the white tower) exact construction date unknown but believed & accepted to begin around 1078 & ended around 1097. That's so wild to me. But people have lived concentrated in an industrialized city like London for what seems like forever. So many in a concentrated area for hundreds & hundreds of years! I ABSOLUTELY believe that many people born, living, emoting, suffering, dying, etc. easily leaves a scar, memory, imprint, whatever you want to call it. Plus energy cannot die, only change form or containment really.. make sense to me.

First of all, how cool is that jacket. Second of all, I grew up in a home built in 1903 by a mortician (no wonder why it was so cheap). We experienced very strange, benevolent residual energy from the departed in that house frequently. Indentations on empty beds, doors opening themselves and falling off of their hinges, footsteps in the attic, reoccurring dreams that came true, these things happened but we never took it as anything to be afraid of. It's just energy, not much different than turning on and off a light. Lastly, I'm not a mad man. I just passed a psych evaluation for a job, so I'm okay. Really.

@cosmicVox13 oh no 😢!!! I've heard about the not so good. People play with other worldly things and bring stuff here that shouldn't be, and we are the ones that have to deal with that mess. Most of the times people who put newborn babies into microwaves are fking insane. Sometimes it truly is something else.
@TheAutumnWind_RN4L
@TheAutumnWind_RN4L 5 жыл бұрын
@cosmicVox13 I was baiting you to say it. It is very real. When we die, they have to find some place to go. Sometimes they manifest themselves in the human body as illnesses, and especially as mental illnesses. If human spirits are real, and the Holy Spirit is real, then it's logical to believe that demonic spirits are real, as well. I do know one thing's for certain: people need to stop the witchcraft and the ouija board mess. They have them in the board games section at Walmart!

In the long run, it is better to NOT just let them be. Call a Catholic Priest and ask them to bless your home. Also, request that the priest offer a Mass for the souls of those who lived there before you, and those who live there with you, now. If an exorcism is needed, the priest will be able to consult with the diocesan exorcist and his team in order to proceed appropriately. What may seem like a ghost could be much worse... Don’t let it ride-put it out, whatever it is.

Sceptic? Sting once told a story on a talkshow that he once baught a property with a lake and a small island in the lake. I don't remember quite how the story went but he felt uneasy and worried on the island where he were to build a bungalow or something. Well he called in people to dig the soil on the island and they found a skelleton from a woman there. They burried her in a graveyard and then all worries went away from the island.

Sting, A great singer, a good man and, truly, a former police officer; hence, 'The Police.' Being a lead singer is not easy and nor is serving as a peace officer; blessed are the peace makers. Thanks for your creativity and former duty in law enforcement. Best to you and your past bandmates. My respect. And he doesn't look his age indeed. We share something in common: and I wasn't a musician, but I once served others, too. Keith

I clicked this video because driving my car this morning Fields of Gold played from my shuffling iPod, and later Is This What You Wanted by Leonard Cohen where the chorus talks about a Hunted House. And then this video starts talking about Walking on the Moon and Neil Armstrong, and just yesterday I saw a 4 hour documentary by Ted Aranda that finally convinced me without an inch of a doubt that the manned missions to the moon were all fake! Talk about Synchronicities!! (there's one more).

I know what it's like living with ghosts. A few times now I've lived in places where the previous owners died. Whispers at night, things jumping off of shelves, stuff spontaneously breaking (a shower door once, a decorative plate on the wall) animals freaking out, movement on my bed when I lay down to sleep but the cat isn't in the room, shadows or lights with no physical source, full-blown apparitions on occasion, radio dials turning up all the way and then all the way down, etc.

Me and my girlfriend were out at the beach walking after dinner and it was moonlit, so we thought we'd check if our camera can record video in that dim light. The waves looked beautiful. So we recorded a random clip and decided the camera was not sensitive enough for such low light. Later when we return and after a month... I was reviewing clips to delete bad ones. I noticed the clip had a translucent man walking along the beach casually (you can see the waves through him) and he appeared from a little spot of light. We both never saw it with our eyes. Since then I believe in the paranormal. Maybe science will explain it some day.

The ghostly woman with the child is freaky. Ghosts are a pain I mean every breath you take, every move you make, every bond you break, every step you take, they'll be watching you. I mean one could call...the police..but in the end law enforcement doesn't buy into spirits in the material world.

"Ghost" is just an umbrella term, I think. I had one in my house that I saw regularly, but it seemed more like a person in a pattern, stuck in time. Other dimensions. Who knows. It's fascinating. What he's describing sounds like more than one type... the physical mischief: poltergeist. The woman and child is something else.

My Auntie said her house was haunted with a poltergist etc and everyone was like naaaa .......... then after she moved from it it was on tv and a presenter was talking about the haunted house ................... then my Mom on holiday kept saying over two nights that something was grabbing her in her bed and taking off the blankets .... you could see she was scared. She said if it happened again she would ask to be moved. The third night nothing. Then (before mobile phones) we got back off holiday and her sister had been dying the two nights she had felt the strange happenings ............. I know she had been genuinely scared and of course sad when we found out.
