You have to slow your speech and be concious of the way you pronounce certain words so that's probably what you're hearing. If anything, I would say that he has a standard Irishman abroad accent, with a clear hint of his Kerry-ness creeping into his cadence.

Fun fact: Little Frogs (Små Groderna) is actually from the beginning an English folk song making fun of the French after they defeated Napoleon. Someone from Sweden where on vacation in England and heard the sing and saw the dance, translated it to Swedish and it became an instant hit here in Sweden.
