I hardly ever watch SNL now, but, back in the day, the greatest thing ever was when Phil Hartman broke. He only did once (so far as I know, and I'm a huge Phil fan, so much so that I plan to have a tattoo for him one day and I'd never, ever do a tattoo of a band or celebrities...so I'm pretty certain). It was the Tonto, Tarzan, & Frankenstein sketch where they were on a talk show. He broke, then got up and crashed thru the wall. The video is super rare, at least outside of US, but it's the cutest thing. As a former (and hopefully once again, but there's no opportunity here for folks like me) comedy performer, I made a vow I would never break. I've only done so maybe twice. It's my homage to Phil.

Once they realized he would break just from being in the shot too long, they have trolled him in every restaurant sketch since. This sketch, where the camera stays on Bowen the whole time that Heidi is facedown in the burger, feels like the culmination.
