That was a good call seeing the vault tech logo in the hospital parking lot. I never noticed that. And once you said it I noticed even the logo for the hospital is a vault tech symbol with an H in the center.

Shady sands is the first location you visit in the first fallout game where you end up having to leave your vault due to the vaults water chip being destroyed

I feel like Maximus had really bad speech skill, that's why he was bullied, brings up Knight Titus' death in a wrong way, fumbles with his words. Also he feels he is not worth of Lucy's attention, so he said Knight Titus name not his, pretending to be a Knight who fights for justice. Of course this will backfire too, but his heart is good, and he is a complex and real character as any in this show. I'm pretty sure the elections in the vaults were manipulated, easy to change some numbers IF needed. I believe Betty said the truth they buried Rose the mom, don't forget we saw after the raid of their vault they took the bodies to use as compost. No burial. As for how Rose or her PipBoy got out from the grave we shall see in later episode. Also my bet Steph will be the overseer of Vault 32. She is from Vault 31...

Really good points here, I like the fact that maxmius has survival experience on the surface but can’t trust others so easily. His only friend was Dane and its nice seeing him warm up to lucy 😮

100% Maximus has crap Speech skill... Barter too. He probably could've gotten the T-60 part repaired for 4 caps if he'd been able to pass that Barter check.

I don't know if you caught it, but the computer one the overseer's desk was busted, and it was the same one that Norm had hacked into to find out that it was his mom's pipboy that opened vault 32 from the outside.

One of the things that stands out to me in a rewatch is that Thaddeus was shocked but he wasn't even pissed at Maximus. He just didn't like that Maximus had a terrible plan to deal with Knight Titus' death. 'We need to get our stories straight.' Was not a well thought out idea. Maximus is the one who hears that and immediately is like 'Well, I'll have to kill you'

Great reactions Madison & Christian. Glad you two are enjoying this ride, which is a trip. Keep paying attention to the small details like you usually do as you guys are both good at picking up little details, call backs & foreshadowing. For example, pay attention to when Lucy talks about her memories with her Mom as a little girl as it’ll be much more important than you think in the near future.😉 I’ll leave it that otherwise I might spoil it for you. Maybe someone else could frame this detail better than I can without spoiling anything. Cheers!🙂👍

Maximus is average Intelligence and Charisma, low Speech and Perception. He's not 'dumb', but he sucks at understanding the implications of his actions and convincing people to do anything. He's always failing to consider consequences and making snap decisions, even though he tries to do the 'right thing'.
