Fallout 1x8 REACTION! | "The Beginning" *First Time Watching!* [The SEASON 1 Finale!!!]

Some notes to take away: Ghouls can live for Hundreds of Years, The Inhaler thing is sorta new to the show but it's what keeps them from going feral (Mindless) The Bombs dropped 220 Years to start the war, but there have been a few times Nukes dropped or detonated (Fallout 3 Megaton) They Nuked Shady Sands in this world since they were doing what the Vault 31 "Managers" wanted but it wasn't them. Done out of pure pettiness. The show takes place in LA where Fallout 4 takes place in Boston. Synths are only from Boston (But could branch out Fallout 3 side story) Diamond City is also in Boston... Basically your using your Fallout 4 Knowledge in the wrong location... But the show could've explained it a bit better. Bombs Dropped - 2077, Fallout 3 - 2277, New Vegas - 2281, Fallout 4 - 2287, TV Show - 2296

ahhh ok that makes sense! Fallout 4 was my main base of knowledge, so all this is (and would've been lol) helpful! So no unexploded nuke (this season) and that cliffhanger city- some have said New Vegas, possibly?

I’m not entirely sure as I haven’t played any of the other games yet except for Fallout 4 but I believe the place at the end might be New Vegas? I might need to try and play that one before season 2 as I loved getting some of the Easter eggs in this season from 4 (like the cryo pods etc)

That would be a major location to have for season 2! And I'm actually surprised Bethesda hasn't done a remake of New Vegas, I'd love to try it again with the updated mechanics of Fallout 4!

Yes it is New Vegas, the tower is the Lucky 38 where Mr.House was. This show does take place after all the games so it'll be interesting to see what direction they take.

I'm curious, what makes you throw the fair use watermark over rare parts of the video? Is it the company themselves having uploaded that clip to youtube? Oh I'm assuming it's cause you're showing more than 10(?) second clips because the scene is too integral to cut. Also I'm pretty sure other comments have explained it but it's a shame you probably won't get your hope for Synths, but maybe we'll get one, there was one in FO3 but tbf that was a lot closer to Boston (DC I think?) than LA or New Vegas.

Usually if I upload it, it'll get content ID'd over certain parts, like it'll claim 6:20-7:20 of the video, so I just throw the FAIR USE up, edit it down a bit more and it will let it through. WHY does everyone bring up synths, they only are in Fallout Four, they are on the east coast, and by lore your FO4 character destroys them. Years before the series begins. Barb is NOT in vault 31 that is for junior executives which Barb certainly is not.

ya F4 was really my only knowledge in this series and I didn't know where exactly 4 and this fit in the timeline, or if this made its own timeline, but in this episode I guess we kinda found that out!
