me too but there was a point it did get old particularly at 8:00 i think it would be cool if he'd continue the voice over introducing the vault until right before the door rolls then... ...then for closing, ending the voice over right at the last moment of light visible from the door closing with the scraping of metal being the last bit of audio

9:13 I might be misremembering but I did Agatha's quest yesterday and she briefly mentioned how one of her ancestors were allowed into the vault before the war, meaning at least one person left the vault, with Agatha being their descendent

I thought Vault 108's original experiment was to see how the vault would react to crisis as the Overseer was going to die shortly after? Not cloning as the main goal but it was the aftereffect.

While that was a part of the experiment it wasn’t the main point from what I’ve read. I probably should have also included that the experiment was also to see how many positions in the vault could be left unfilled without disaster. But yes they did intend for the Overseer to die early in the vaults life span.
