Thank you for the influence on building a tavern for Longfellow's cabin. Had a hard time finding a place for a bar on that land and for my Minutemen troops stationed on the island to keep the peace (and Longfellow himself), they need something like this.

I simply adore it :) It is a great way to practice by recreating this in our settlements. It's just an awesome template to follow. I know you have your reasons for tearing it down afterwards, but that made my heart lurch a little when you said that. I know you are so busy. I was mostly just teasing you, I mean, if you have to tear it down to make room or save on frame rate or whatever, then I understand. But I would feel that way about all of your builds. Someone say "tear it down" and I'm just like noooo. Anyways, I am building at the Dalton Farm and I'm gonna try to fit this in there somewhere. That place gets attacked so much it's not even funny. At least in my game it does...it's kinda crazy ridiculous.

Phoenix haha yeah I know, i think I'm going to have to beef up the defences on all of the new settlements, the fog brings in a lot of enemies, anyway looking forward to seeing your build, and just generally having the time to sit down chill out and start some builds again.

Even today and with mods the barn tiles are kinda my favorite (except the windows) They look like someone who had basic skills but wasn't any kind of master Craftsman actually took some shipment of wood and made a building to the best of their ability. Ironically I like to use the wood structures as basic barns and outbuildings but the barn tiles get to be houses.

I think it mainly comes down to barns not having any gaps between the planks and not having any holes aside from the windows.

If you haven't already figured it out, Put down a concrete wall with a door in it then snap a barn wall on the front of the concrete wall with a screen door in it for a modern look kind of thing or double doors.

don't worry I had this problem, even before the DLC, its a bug I think, just reload, or fast travel somewhere, then fast travel back, should fix it

I've built settlements with all of the items, but I seem to have missed the bottle lights you used. Were those included in the dlc, if so where did you find them?

I think they were in either wall hangings/signs right down the end or maybe decorations/misc, in any case they do come with the DLC and they are right down the end of one of the tabs lol, sorry i'm away from my system atm, i'm just going off memory.

It is either under "furniture - Misc"(The last category in that section), or "decorations - Misc"(the last category in that section... I always get those two mixed up. One has TVs, the other has Radios in it, lol.
