+xDrCandyx Yeah one important thing is to make sure there's a clear pathway for AI pathing, otherwise you can just put turrets on them instead of guards, which is probably more effective anyway, there's plenty of different ways to build them, i have probably 15 different designs throughout all my settlements, so just use these designs as a guide and see what you can come up with :)

ohh yeah homeplate i forgot all about that one, theres not a lot of potential buids for that place, but you could go either a nice penthouse style build or a decayed apocalyptic safe house style build, however i will get around to every single settlement eventually and when i do hopefully i can spawn some sweet ideas for that settlement for ya.

Would you consider doing more videos like this in preparation for Fallout 76? I'd like to see ideas about how to protect destructible elements of our CAMP such as our turrets and generators. I'd especially like to see ideas about how to set turrets up to have the maximum amount of coverage while keeping their exposure to enemies as little as possible.

I struggle with size of the base. I always max out when it seems I havnt built a great deal. I delete everything and empty the location to make room but it seems to fill proper quick. Looking at the size of this base theres loads init but not much space taken up. How??

Back then we all used an unlimited space glitch, to build bigger better settlements, its very simple to do and theres plenty of tutorials for it, but I wouldn't recommend using it too much

+Zen Advent yeah i'm always coming up with crazy different ideas lol, this was shot at "Spectacle Island" dude, I just use my old spectacle island fortress to shoot some of my guides.. If by some chance you don't know where that is, you can find it on a remote island just south-east of the castle :)

+Dylan Jennings that's weird it shouldn't do that, make sure your dropping the weapons down and only "store" them, Dont scrap them, I know one guy was doing that and he was having problems with the glitch

+TLK GAMING no sorry i meant "essential" as in invincible. I.e. Most settlers cant be killed by enemies but they can be killed by you, and then most of the companions cant be killed at all. So what i meant to ask was do the level 4 merchants ever die.. cuz when you said you made sure they were all protected it sounded like they do die? I only have the vault tec rep, all the others are really buggy so I've thus far avoided getting them til a patch fixes them

your settlers can die absolutely, the only time they are essential (Invincible) is if your at the settlement and in the fight, this gives them the companion ability, where if their health becomes completely exhausted they go into a bleed out stage, where the enemy will assume their dead and move to the next, however don't assume they are invincible all the time, certain more dangerous enemy's such as deathclaws etc, can kill your settlers even while your there, and moments where you turn up to a settlement under attack, the game sometimes doesn't give them the invincibility like its suppose to, i haven't had a lvl 4 die yet, but i have always had them heavily guarded, that's why its important to have good defenses for your merchants, in case you miss the attack message or plain can't be bothered assisting the attack..

The instructions were too hard to follow. It was hard to understand and you went way too fast. It was extremely frustrating trying to create one of your buildings that I gave up. Please try to be more informative and slower.
