Early Game Tips:
- Grab Double Meat Book early. (Sunshine Tidings co-op)
- Avoid using Molotovs at all.
- Be aware of not throwing mines down while being shot at as enemies will almost always shoot your mine killing you immediately.
- Avoid Suicider Super Mutants at all costs no matter what armor you equip.
- Be aware of enemies and avoid (Raiders) that throw Molotovs or use explosive weapons i.e.: (Grenades, Missile Launchers, Fat Man users)
- Prioritize upgrading weapons and junk that upgrades weapons over armor as weapons (Combat Rifles) are much longer lasting than any armor except Ballistic Weave armor.
- Prioritize Maxing out the Scrounger perk tree ASAP as it will allow you to supply your need for ammo easily. (Particularly Fusion Cells early game and .45/.556 late game)
- Keep Med-X on you as it is one of the only ways outside of Poisoner’s Legendary Armor prefix that you can defend yourself against poison.
- Cook all food and make all chems i.e. (Psychobuff, Psychohet, etc.) for extra food and EXP.
- Any automatic Bleeding or Explosive legendary prefix is game breakingly good so keep an eye out for those. (As well as Rapid for laser weapons in particular.) Especially Gatling Lasers.
- Also keep an eye out for Two-Shot or Instigating legendary prefixes for sniper based weapons.
- Avoid using companions.
Things to keep an eye out for:
- Radstag Meat
- Glowing Fungus
- Ballistic Fiber (For Ballistic Weave Late Game and Dense & Padded Armor ASAP to avoid death by explosions)
- Military Grade Duct Tape (Is both adhesive and ballistic fiber)
- Adhesive
- Noodle Cup (Razorgrain + Dirty Water),
- Purified Water
- Dirty Water (In Groups of 3s)
- Hunting Rifle or Laser Musket (Until you find a Combat Rifle or Overseers Guardian)
- Overseers Guardian (Sold In Vault 81) (Use almost exclusively as a sniper rifle as the Two-Shot Legendary prefix will cause immense kick, accuracy, and ammo issues when used as an automatic weapon.)
