Good job!. I'm a boring prick that builds the same brick box in every settlement (Except Hangman's Alley) That has the stores at ground level, beds on the second level and the gardens and recreation on the roof.

Nothing wrong with that if it ticks all the boxes 😁👍🏻 I've seen hangman's alley mentioned the most out of any settlement, I've not found it yet but will keep an eye out if it's a good one to build at

Similar to my story - I start out with grand aspirations to make something unique, but finish with an oversized rectangular stockade or warehouse required to house my 50 Power Armour suits. Next Character is only gonna own a single PA suit and I'll banish right angles from settlement builds.

Yeah its a bit empty currently 🤣 just the two settlers, but yeah once I've got it full and all the stores are set up and trading it'll look great! Glad you liked the set up around the billboard, that came out really well and was one of the less painful parts! 😅

Haha its probably stubbornness over patience 🤣 I don't like being beaten 🤣 although for the sake of the video I conceded on a few things on the full build videos so it wasn't me trying over and over 😅

its so cool seeing that you had a little 2nd story room with your bobbleheads and magazines in the space you did! in my original world, that was the exact same place i had my trophy room, 2nd floor and all!

Thats awesome! 😁 I wasn't sure what to do with that space at first, but then remembered I'd seen a few comments all saying display your mags and bobbleheads as it looks good so 😁🙌🏼

I'm done beautifying Sanctuary with 290 Defense, 90 Food, and 300 Water and i think it's time for me to build Red Rocket and do some supply trading between the two settlements. And thank you for the recent uploads. Was looking for settlement inspiration that are posted a month ago, not 8 years ago❤

Final product looks awesome! I think you forgot to put in toilets. You'd said something about it right before you got caught up fighting with the nuka cola machine. An easy fix might be outhouses...they are in the barn section under misc.

I didn't watch the previous two videos of the actual build yet, but I know how much patience it takes to do all of this building without mods. The Red Rocket settlement looks great!

This settlement is awesome, and so is your creativity, dedication and patience! I watched and enjoyed the entire build. Showcase was very well done, too. Love your gameplay and look forward to more episodes, whether they involve building, exploring the rest of the map or quests. I usually don't leave comments but felt the need to let you know what great fun your videos are to watch.

I had to use the pillar glitch to get them to go close enough so you couldn't see the gaps 😅

Thank you! Possibly some of them, not all of them though as its very resources intensive and takes a while 🤣 I had planned to do it at Sanctuary, but I'm not sure now as Sanctuary is huge lol

Haha yeah it's to huge and star drive in and the island now that one is hella big there you can build a whole town from scratch but there's a lot of mirlkers there though but out of those three they're the only big ones out there.

I don't have a tutorial as such, however I did release the complete builds of this settlement in my let's play series. They are called episode 11.1 and 11.2. They effectively cover the whole thing in real time. Or alternatively if there is a specific thing you wanted to try recreate I can try tell you how I did it. If you are referring to the junk walls, I used what is called the pillar glitch to get those in. Pillars can clip through floors whereas walls can't, so you can almost 'trick' the Y axis using the pillar as your selected item, and get the wall to sit into the floor next to each other. It's handy if the floor isn't even, which unless you build a foundation, is pretty much all floor in Fallout lol

Dawg this is beautiful im trynna get red rocket as my trading hub but Idk how or where to start when it comes to building it XD

Glad you like it 😁. Well if you need some ideas on where to start and want to copy elements from this, I uploaded the full build videos as 2 parts. It's 11.1 and 11.2 of my fallout 4 let's play. It's quite long, I think about 6 hours in total. But you see how I do it without mods (and where some of the struggles are trying to get stuff to snap together 🤣)

Hangman's Alley is very tight space wise and you can't elevated very high. I've done the alley a few times but my new favorite build location is Finch farm. You can actually build up on the overpass highway on Finch farm. I build a huge concrete bunker up there. It was my first big build like that. Nice build! Quick question, to get to the bar you have to go through someones bedroom?

Sort of yeah, there's two beds in the abode beneath the bar, one is hidden away but one is in the living space which isn't ideal. I could build stairs on the other side up to the bar. Or, remove that 2nd bed. I've put 6x more beds in the spaces underneath the guard towers now so have ample beds
