Here is the first part of my Sanctuary Hills settlement tour. This was rebuilt for the minutemen. I tried to make everything look realistic and lore friendly as I could. Let me know what you think! Part 2 will be out in the next few days.

i use a mod which allows you to scrap "Everything" so for me he is just hammering something that doesnt exist instead of acctually being at the base i built over sancturay. Infact no one is there and it pisses me of.

No, it looks like it was made by someone who actually cared and invested more than 2 hours into designing the area. Face it, Bethesda knew the creation engine and what they presented to us was at best, something an experienced modder could have done in a few hours. It's reasons like that why modders like this exist and for reasons like that why they went with a Fallout 76 route for their next game. They are simply getting lazy and people are still buying into it. To the creator you did a fabulous job. You're leagues ahead of Bethesda.

it's actually a real inspiration. Lol. I've had fallout since release, but never had DLCs and I've only started playing again recently, being new to the building in fallout wasn't too good but I got used to it pretty quick. Cordless and General Dave have inspired me to build and I literally haven't shot my gun in weeks. The building in games is always a favourite of mine so I hope the next fallout has a more polished workshop mode and maybe areas we can choose to build.

Thats all you need thoe lol i just use mods to repair the roofs on my sanctuary houses and a mod to be able to add doors to all of them and i just decorate them i can make good settlements just not in sanctuary for some reason i use a mod to build in the whole mechanist base and made a huge vault inside there lol

That’s why I always liked the rebuild modular sanctuary mod, you can keep a lot of the vanilla esthetic but it affords a lot of opportunity for unique lore-friendly builds.

I’ve been transforming the minutemen into an actual military and have built at sanctuary to make it look more like a city for lots of people to live in, I actually took inspiration from the first quarantine zone in the last of us

this is impressive for sure. all i've managed to build for Sanctuary so far is a power station. i made it by using the warehouse construction objects to make a simple building with 2 floors. on the ground floor i build an office, a break room and 2 bathrooms. on the second floor i build some generators, connected them together and then connected them to a conduit-through-walls. after that i build some street lights along the road till they reached the bridge out of town. from there i connected them to the water purifiers in the rivers. i placed scavenging stations next to the generators and water purifiers to create the illusion that the settlers are maintaining them.

FPS advice - Add switches to each building so you can turn off the lights. Doing this will significantly increase your frame rate.

Even tho I have no DLCs at all (just mods) I've been getting quite a lot of inspiration from you and General Dave on the builds you both have produced. I am currently on my second settlement build ever as I've only started building for a couple months now. The first was at Red Rocket outside sanctuary. Being a fully functional town/safe haven with all shops being under the roof while the caravan shops are up top with Housing around the perimeter. My current project is a bigger version over at Abernathy farm fully functioning AND flourishing town. Once I complete it il finally renovate sanctuary hills (as my first two builds were more or less me getting to grips with the whole system). And il turn the other two into something else. Im pretty proud of what I've built comparing it to you and Dave and it even looks great! (With a few very minor tough patches I need to fix up) I just wanna say thanks for the inspiration dude! 👍

Nice vid man! But I think you should’ve gone into way more detail on the tour. I did not get to appreciate the whole settlement because of how fast you were going.
