i'm interested in seeing where you go with this. my original save file (level 267, normal mode) i have about 1.5 million caps, i think. i went from grinding just for ish and giggles to turning it into my own personal quest to see if i can sell everything i accumulated -- the ammo alone will net another 500k easy, maybe another million 😆

Have you ever considered a playthrough that adds more survival mechanics (Advanced Needs 76 or Nuclear Winter, for example)? I thought about this when you remarked, "my plan involves a lot more violence" and I had just come across a PTSD mod on Nexus that begins to add effects the more people you kill. Can't get more immersive than that! I'm looking to make a super immersive mod build. Something challenging like Frost but not as boring (I still want quests and NPCs with a little depth to them).

Only played the game a little (only ever beat the main quest once) and i had no idea idiot savant was this good until now.

It's busted, a 2 INT idiot savant run is the best for leveling

​@@nightdoom98I suggest to keep INT at 1 and take afterwards the INT bobblehead in the library, so you have 1 extra SPECIAL point and the special book for other stats

@@nightdoom98 I believe the most efficient INT is 2 for idiot savant and honestly hacking/lockpicking is not that important, most of the loot behind closed doors/terminals is mediocre

if the game mode is survival, how do you quick save with out sleep.

A mod. I believe it’s called “Unlimited Survival”. Also unlocks console commands, which is important if a quest bugs out or something similar happens.
