The Fallout 12.7mm is really two calibres in one. When fired from a pistol or SMG it represents the Fallout version of .50 Action Express. When fired from a rifle it is really supposed to be the equivalent of .50 Beowulf but Josh Sawyer did not want to add a new typ of ammunition for just one DLC weapon.

Makes sense. the .50 Beowulf is basically a .50 AE with a lengthened case.

i absolutely love the design of this weapon, how big and bulky it is like a power armor pistol but i hate how its not a 14mm pistol but its so close to it. Apparently a 14mm was added in this mod as a optional download.

Fo1 and Fo2 also had this weapon but as the 14mm pistol. Edit: And that is what I get for leaving a comment before finishing the video XD. This modder did a very nice job with the models and execution overall, but yeah making the crusader different as a more advanced version that has the Fo76 modifications would have been nice. I would like to see the 12.7mm/crusader pistol and 12.7mm SMG return in Fo5. They feel very Fallout to me.

the mod authoer added the 14mm pistol as a optional download that spawns at level 40.

I must say that this Pistol is practically tailor made for Power Armor playthroughs making it an incredibly versatile weapon, for Stealth and Assault situations, thanks for the showcase captain, Daks version would be an interesting comparison.

The one from Degenerate dak has the magazine in the handle so it is more in line with the 12.7 mm pistol from Fallout New Vegas. Personal i think the newer version from 76 has a better magazine design IMO

I'd like to suggest two mods for you to take a look at. Pig's Bullpup Combat Shotgun, Actually Viable AA-12 Shotgun. Not the prettiest, but both are really fun with a solid dps.
