Thanks! Never played FO4 (flat or VR) so jumping in blind with your mod pack installed. Visuals are great. How do you think this modlist compares with GingasVR's Fallout 4 VR Essentials Overhaul from April of this year? Also at first I couldn't get this to launch , even though steamVR and fallout were on fresh installs. I had no error message, just forever got stuck at "Next Up - Fallout VR" screen in steamVR. The fix was to download microsoft visual C++ 2012 redistributable. It took me hours to find this fix, so maybe this will help someone else.

Hey thanks for your comment! It is helpful. I also didn’t play much FO4 in flat. Or at least not enough to enjoy it, so for me the experience is new in Vr. Just a clarification: I didn’t create this modlist. The guy who did is called Hitman and I put the link of his discord in the video description. Regarding the modlist you mentioned, unfortunately I don’t know, because I haven’t tried it. I did try another overhaul, but it gave me many many performance problems, whilst this one runs very well on my system. The modlist I talk about in this video is not exactly lore friendly, so you will find modern call of duty weapons, which I don’t think are included in the modlist you mentioned.

Where can you download this? It's gone from nexusmods, i played 30 mins of vanilla and it ruins my immersion having no body and seeing the quest controllers ingame.

Well I'm definitely going to try this! One question, do i need the creation club? i can get the GOTY edition that has all DLC but not the creation club. I'm guessing no but want to make sure.Thanks! and I subbed as well.

Hey, thanks for your comment. I don’t think it matters. Mod manager should not update the fo4 data folder as far as I know. Have you tried to launch the game from mod manager? Does everything work as it should? If not, please follow the link in the description to the modlist creator. Hitman is a nice chap and can help you troubleshooting if something is wrong 😊

Hello, do you know any mod to improve pip boy that works in VR? My pip boy fails too much

Hi there! Unfortunately you will have to use the pip boy in projected mode. It’s kind of a known issue.

@@VRDaD Hello, I have a lot of problems using pip boy, it fails a lot, it is difficult to activate and then deactivate by itself, I thought there was something that could improve this, some configuration to be able to activate with a button.

@@washingtonmateus8170 I actually do activate it with a button. I think it pops out with the Y button (I am using a oculus quest 2). Have you tried it? I didn’t change any configuration…i just installed the modlist and it worked out of the box. The only thing you don’t have is the display popping out when you look at it. If you wish you can ask for other advice directly to the modlist creator on his discord. I put the link in the description of this video 😊 he is a very helpful guy, that knows everything about the issue people may encounter using his modlist.

@@VRDaD I use pico 4, my GPU is an RTX 2060, I think it doesn't support all the mods on the modlist, so I asked about the name of the mod for pipboy, because I wanted to download it separately, in addition to a few other mods that my GPU supports, in my game I activate pipboy by approaching the right hand and it fails so much that I give up playing, but I will talk to the creator of the modlist to try to solve this, thanks.

Yes it is! I actually upgraded my system since the video, and tested it! There are some areas where you might get some slight drops still, but overall it’s smooth as butter with a 4090.

@@VRDaD Is it 90 fps reprojected from 45 using synchronous spacewarp? Did you change something in Fallout 4 VR - Modern Tactical Overhaul to have 90 fps or default settings will give me this?

@@pawefilocha4421 I didn’t get any reprojection and I didn’t change much from the original settings out of the box. I could probably push it a bit further, because I think the modlist installs the Vrperfkit, which I had set on balanced with my 3090. I could probably go for the Quality now.

@@ZomboidMX that’s probably the issue. Wabbajack checks the default steam folders. I would suggest to join the modlist creator’s discord. Maybe he can help you better. The link to the discord is in the description 😊 I hope you get this sorted. FO4 is so fun with this modlist.

RTX 3090 and 5800X. You don't need an extremely high end pc to run it, but you need at least a 3090 to run it well. The modlist works well with a 3070 as well.

Nice looking is good, but it's better with à mass npc trying kill you lol. There is sadly no game who take you in a True battlefield with massive battle... skyrim vr with war mods is good for this, im trying to do thé same with fallout 4...

@@mmarco8743 technically you can add all the mods you want. Just be aware of the compatibles and conflicts. In any case if you mess up you can restore the mods and plug-ins pretty easily.
