Fallout 4 was just better...

Fallout 4 released in 2015 and we're now 9 years removed from that release date. To this day it might still be one of my favorite video games of all time. From the combat, factions and quests. Fallout 4 is still better than most of Bethesda's games (except Skyrim). What do you think? Is Fallout 4 a peak title in the year 2024?

I absolutely adore fallout 4. Its the one game I always go back to. I classify it as the best fallout game released. However that is my own opinion.

In my first play through of Fallout 4, I joined the Railroad, then the Institute, then the BOS. There was a period of time where I was allied to every faction. Then I personally massacred them all and am now enemies with every faction (except for the minutemen but fuck them)

Fallout 4 in terms of factions we got: American Revolution cosplayers, The Underground Railroad for robots, a bunch of nerds underground, and I want to make sweet love to this radio and I’m not a racist you are because I listen to Fortunate Son in vertibirds because communism is a joke to capitalism

I played all the fallout games, (besides the mobile app one, BOS and tactics) and fallout 4️⃣ is still my favorite one of the series. To be honest, 3 is my least favorite.

I like New Vegas and the others, but i simply have a lot more fun in Fallout 4 and think it is my favorite, even tho NV objectively is the best one

Fallout 4 definitely brought some cool animations, gun play and other mechanics as well as the better character editor but in terms of perks, traits, dialogue system and story I dislike the game because it stripped away so much the title brought before it Boston was a cool a setting but it lacked life imo

Good treatise. I keep coming back to this game. Just played it an hour ago. The Brotherhood are totalitarian fascists. Maxin sux. They will be the first to die every time, once I run around a little with Liberty Prime.

There are 2 fallout players. You either love the BoS or you love the Railroad, theres no inbetween.

I love the railroad, I like lot of their repeatables like the Caches and building safehouses. They also have ballistic weave which is a must for any non-power armour related build. Plus I don't really like fallout 4 brotherhood, not because their not written well, they certainly are. But because their kinda dicks, mostly Elder Maxon and Knight Rhys. They feel more like glorified raiders. (especially if you do the quatermasters repeatable quests to take farmers crops) the Minutemen moreso took on the role that the Brotherhood did in Fallout 3, which is to help people. I can't help but feel like a bad guy if I side with the Brotherhood.
