They didn't just add this, I found the note at least 2 weeks ago ;but didn't know what it was for and then I randomly talked to Adelaide and noticed the new dialog. There is an effect after that is permanent, every time you sleep you get the "Lover's Embrace" buff rather than Well Rested.

The point of Romancing her is the Lover's Embrace effect when you sleep near a lover, its a 3 hr 5% xp buff rather than the standard 1 hr rested buff,
