I figured making a video over this vault would be something interesting for players who didn't know about this or didn't get to experience Nuclear Winter battle royale mode. Keep in mind like I mentioned in the video, this Vault was added to Fallout 76 after Nuclear Winter got removed from the game as a tribute to the game mode.

I think Adventure players only complained about is as you had to do some daily challenges in NW. Also you could unlock exclusive rewards for Adventure mode in NW, so as a completionist/collector you had to play it. Thats the reason why the infamous bush wookies existed, who just hide and go afk to stay as long as possible in a match without actually killing players. Then the actual NW players started complaining as sometimes they couldn't find the last remaining hidden players to end the match. I was a bush wookie myself and grinded to around overseer rank 80+ just for the rewards without ever killing a player ... I think I even won a dozen matches where the other players nuked themself or went into the fire to end the match.

There is a small mini vault left to the entrance where you can get your own mini vault from a robot 😋

I saw your video on some secret places on the PTS 🙂 If you are interested there is a secret back entrance to Vault 63 organic labs through Shining Creek Cavern. You go into Shining Creek Cavern and take care of the deathskull radscorpions. Deep in the cavern on the left side is a passageway that is blocked by a gate needing a key go down the passage that goes downwards (there is another gate going upwards). Glitch through the gate and you work your way to another big cavern with some wendigos, some cave crickets some more radscorpions and a glowing deathclaw that spawns from an underground nest. Continue deeper into the cavern and there is another passage to another smaller cavern with a small creek and a big drain pipe. You can enter vault 63 through the grate on the drain and on the other side you are in the greenhouse for the organic lab. On the way to the organic lab there are a lot of lost dwellers and lost engineers so be prepared. Once inside you can find the chemistry lab and the pharmaceutical lab. I couldn't glitch through the doors and you need the vault 63 west wing key.....still looking for the key....... I haven't seen this location showcased by anyone on YT so far so go knock yourself out if you are interested 🙂

I started playing 76 back in January of last year. This was one of the first places myself and my friend explored together. We had no idea about the Scorched Overseer in the Power Armour, we were very surprised. We managed to take him down after being killed one time. From reading the comments seems many found this early in their playthroughs.

it's being brought up because of all the new players pouring in that weren't around when nuclear winter was. as stated this has been in the game as stated this has been in the game since shortly after nuclear winter ended. probably not going to be the last thing that's brought up that people have forgotten about or neglected to know this whole time 😊

NW was the shit. I remember shooting a guys power armor off of the frame like it was made of Legos. Grenades and npcs were the only thing in vats too. Great times no stealth or quantum to hide how bad you were at pvp.😂

Good old days agree showed how some pvpers were without their legacy explosive energy weapons in nuclear winter. I had my legacies and pvp those other spammers in nukas and stealth boys. Miss it and want both back to get all my friends to come back to 76 with reasons to play.

the playerbase has repeatedly disagreed over the pvp aspect...from what i heard it was extremely unbalanced due to it being a fallout game where every player is a deity...so basically it became way too much development time being spent on essentially a failure...in the end a respectable decision was made to abandon the mode and focus on what can reasonably be achieved with dev team

I remember when they first brought up Vault 51, I had my camp near the farm that was next to it, and after the vault appeared my camp always had visitors who bought stuff from me. Maybe I'll have to visit the wasteland again, after all it was a good time (after the wastelanders update at least)

Hi. NW vet here. I played this mode MANY hours on ps4 back in the days. Lemme put it this way. Was it the best BR? No. Were there ways people were exploiting to be OP from jump? God yes. Was it the most fun BR anyone's ever played? Absolutely! I remember me and my buddies running through the fires to many final circles. Power armor fist fights. Small bases being made. It really one of those you had to be there moments. So yes. The hype you hear of it, is true.

I remember killing this boss when they added Shelters to the game. I believe I went to the Vault 51 to read the poster about it. Went into the Vault. Beat that boss. I think I used a legacy, and even then he was tough

I stumbled onto that vault by mistake at very low level, I died SO many times. Took the guy out with a pistol at level 25. Not bad for only gaining five levels after starting 76 as a brand new player. OH it sucked but the loot was great.

I always avoided this vault because I wasnt into PVP and I didn't like Bathesda adding a battle royale gamemode. I didnt want Fortnite in my Fallout. To me battle royale was just a fad that had started in Minecraft and just straight up exploded. People saw dollar signs from imitating the hunger games. Worse, their misuse of that Johnny Cash song annoyed the crap out of mom. "Ring of Fire" was a love song Johnny Cash wrote to his wife. The use of it for a battle royale mode in a literal ring of fire annoyed her and I felt she had a point. All in all it delayed my getting fallout 76 because it was a mode that was a fad, nobody asked for it, and I felt like Battle Royale was a poor fit for Fallout.
