So for those who don't know this update on December 5th will be part 1 of atlantic city which is sort of more like the pitt update. But part 2 will be an entire new set of locations to free roam with quests etc... and that comes later. Hope this information helps.

Enclave is something they've been slowly building up in the background ever since the first Daily Ops, and more recently with the "management" of the whitesprings. They'll do something with them eventually.

The Enclave is something they are SLOWLY building on in Fallout 76. To mention some of my theories regarding this.. (and the following in my personal Fallout 76 CONSPIRACY THEORY... but some SPOILERS are mentioned below) I personally think Orlando at the White Springs is secretly Enclave. Why do I think this? Several of the things Orlando has said sound like stuff the Enlcave would say. I think the higher ups that Orlando is working for are also Enclave. But what type of Enclave? There is the West Virginia / Appalachia Enclave that the player is part of (Reminder: the player becomes an ENCLAVE GENERAL at the end of the original Fallout 76 quest with MODUS as the A.I leader. Those two, aside from all the Enclave robots in the White Springs bunker, are the only surviving Appalachia Enclave. Well, this is assuming former U.S President Thomas Echkhart and all the other humans are truly dead). The OTHER Enclave is the one that's in California on the Oil Rig (where the OTHER U.S President and other Enclave human members are currently at). Now... Is Orlando from the California chapter of the Enclave where they traveled from California to Appalachia, similar to how the Brotherhood in the Steel Reign DLC traveled from California to Appalachia? Or is Orlando secretly ONLY with the Appalachia chapter with MODUS ( who is the mysterious "Mr. Otis" that Orlando mentions??) with MODUS refusing to tell us, the Enclave General, that they have recruited Orlando (if that's the case, what's with the secret??) Also, Is Orlando the same person as Sgt. Orlando Garret mentioned 25 years ago in one of the holotapes at Huntersville? There is some evidence that suggests it's the same Orlando. Possibly. Also, since U.S President Thomas Eckhart is dead (allegedly), and the player is the top ranking (and only) Enclave General, doesn't that automatically give the U.S presidency to the player due to chain of command? If so, why hasn't MODUS told us yet and allowed us into the U.S Presidency office in the White Springs Bunker since we, the player, are the new U.S president? Also, Since there is that OTHER U.S President at the California Enclave chapter, that comes in conflict with the U.S presidency that branched off with Thomas Eckhart in Appalachia. I imagine if members of the California Enclave chapter traveled to Appalachia, they might NOT be happy with the player who is an Enclave General and possibly the other U.S president. Some might be angry and would want to murder the player, but some might want the player as the one and only and true president if they have a hatred for the other U.S president that's in California. Enclave civil war? Also, how do we get from the Enclave events in Fallout 76 to the Enclave and John Henry Eden in Fallout 3? Does MODUS and the player and someone else (Orlando) have something to do with that? LOTS of unanswered questions for a future Enclave update to Fallout 76 whenever they get around to it.

@@mindinvader9599 The enclave aren't exactly just your run of the mill faction, if/when they're added to the game in full it would likely end up being for something big and until then they make for a good boogeyman in the background and easter egg for people paying attention.

Not a fan of expeditions, the Pitt was the Pits. After 5 years I wish this was a new map expansion with new locations to explore, a whole new set of events/quests based in Atlantic City and new locations to build my camp.

I'm so excited for Atlantic City! Fallout 76 did wonders for the series and I dare say it's been much more enjoyable than even Fallout New Vegas! It's comfortable, it's packed with action and content, and there is boundless replayability with this game! The PvP is just downright criminal with how well designed it is. And these expansions seem to be breathing sweet new life into an already tremendous game!
