I really appreciate the way you structured this video. It was pointed out to me that the party based perks and mutations work even if you just create a team for yourself. I've gotten into the habit of just making a casual team for me. If others join in later, more Int for more xp. Otherwise, it works like a dream.

my only issue i have trouble with here is weight and the weapon’s weight alot the aid weights alot and food as well should i just sell off all the aid and food i dont use or plan on using stash space is a serious issue i feel like the more they add to the game the more stash space we should be given

yeah they are glitched but its a bethesda game what can we expect… theres still ways to get it lmao. i always get the right leg and chest randomly but can never puck them up if it drops from an enemy. if it drops from an enemy u gotta find its body and then wait like 10 mins for the body to despawn and the pa should be there. anyone know how to get the other pieces? bc i cant craft the chest or right leg n i still get them. only those tho

Rock solid build. I’ve been running an almost identical build for a while now and I haven’t died once, yet. I’m using the hellcat PA as I was able to craft a jetpack on the helmet a while back leaving the torso free for the emergency protocol. I wear the Chinese stealth suit for underneath in the rare case I accidentally hop out of the PA in a nuke zone and it gives decent overall protection outside of PA. For the legendary effects on the armor pieces I prefer weapons weight reduction over hardy as I struggle to get weapons with the 90% weight reduction.

Hey man, ABSOLUTELY INSANE guide. BUT one thing to consider: UNION pa is not obtainable at the moment, afaik. Regardless, some comments of what I love about the video. a) You explain in detail why it works. This is useful to understand game mechanics and be better at the game. Kudos. b) You explain how the different pieces and perks of the build work together. Again, useful to understand game mechanics and allows the end player to add modifications to cater to them. Kudos. c) And you also explain how to do a version of it without all the perks or levels. The only thing I might suggest is that PA is PA... and what matters is that you get the proper rolls and not the exact pa type you have. IE, isn't it more important to have OVEREATERS rather than a specific pa type? All in all, super detailed, well explain and well put together video. Thanks!

Ghoulish works, it just makes rad damage you take heal you. I’m not sure why all of a sudden players don’t know how this perk works ahha. I don’t do criticals outside of vats.

Those are just headshots or “weak spot” shots. Not crits. Crits don’t change colour.

Would be great to see an unyielding secret service armour build from you at some point. I've always seemed to struggle with survivability when trying to switch from the power armour builds and always end up coming back. Obviously it'll never be as tanky, but it's sometimes nice to not use the power armour all the time and get a little bit more exp/carry weight (I use the T-65 PA)

I HIGHLY recommend using Field Surgeon in Charisma. Since there is no animation sequence for using the Stimpak. It's very, very useful when you're a hair away from possible death.

TYR… Could one adjust this build for an explosive shotgun build using the Gauss Explosive Shotgun? The build is brilliant and seems like this would dovetail beautifully into an explosive shotgun build due to the ability to get in the enemy’s faces without a care! Think the build sounds amazing and looks insane, going to be working on a full health version of it but I was thinking with the way it works with a catch all heavy gunner, using whatever weapon you want, while you look for those light weight weapons, is there any way to fit the whole heavy weapons weigh less? or is it just not worth removing anything? Thank you for this. My Heavy Gunner build is almost exactly like this, and even when it is not, your builds always make me reconsider mine. The only part I am not convinced about is being a Herbivore. As a Carnivore I can easily maintain an additional 8 Luck, Agility, and Endurance. That allows my Bloodied/ Lucky/ Lucky Plasma Caster or Gatling Plasma to Crit every other shot, because they have “Crit Meter Fills Faster” on the 3rd star. While Sweet Mutfruit Tea only gives me 50% more Crit Damage, I estimate the extra Crits make up for it now that the extra damage is additive while the Crits themselves bypass damage mitigation. Thoughts?

Hey mate appreciate it! Herbivores do have those special boosts as well, check out buffs n brew to see a full list. You can likely find a way to maintain that boost in luck and also benefit from the extra crit damage that the herbivore offers.

Is there a reason that so few builds use class freak in luck? It effectively adds 37.5 health for 3 perk slots if you are using adrenal reaction which is even better per slot with even just that than life giver which you are already using (although unlike endurance, the luck special wouldn’t be very beneficial), it would give 6 strength for carry weight and 3 intelligence for xp, and it opens up other mutations for QoL and stuff that would now have negligible downsides

Life giver is 4 points for 65 health (including the endurance points needed to slot it) class freak is not worth sacrificing three points we can better use elsewhere in the build especially since the negatives of our chosen mutations do not effect us and don’t matter in the grand scheme of things. You can pop all kinds of buffs and raise your strenght to ridiculous levels if it really bothers you, 6 strength isn’t going to impact us too much, nor are any of the other “negatives” the only time I would say sure go ahead and take class freak would be if you for some reason thought it would be a good idea to go out side of the builds scope and take more or all of the mutations that don’t directly benefit the build anyway. Long story short there are better uses for three points and you don’t need to minimise the negatives of your selected mutations since the correct ones going on the correct build do not impact you in any meaningful way.

I know it's more of a grind, but the legendary that reduces ammo weight is so good for heavy weapons, Fusion cores, Missiles, Fuel, Bullets all reduced for no perk points. If you use all 3 of those weapon types that's 8 points saved. Been slowly perfecting my own Heavy weapons build and love your video, although i'm too lazy to create foods and drugs to really min max.

Btw the negative to plague walker isn't that you need to be diseased for it to work. Its that when you do, it has the poison aura, constantly hitting things near you so its near impossible to get sneak damage off. Not a big deal for this build, but it should be known still

Hahah, I just watched the original video yesterday and left a comment. Time to watch this one too! My question last time was that as a new player (just hit 50) I was a little worried how feasible this build is to work towards, since I'm missing so many things.

Depends on what your missing, you can make one star armor and weapons work while you grind for those god rolls, regular perks are another story I recommend getting the correct ones, legendary perks are amazing boosters to your build, but can do without them if you’re not high enough level, keep grinding and you’ll get all slots eventually at level 300 As for anything else, it’s important to use the right modifications on the armor, correct mutations are also important and playing on a team is always recommended. Just enjoy the process, there’s no wrong way to utilise a build while your grinding for the end game, you can’t utilise everything at the beginning so just use what you can and like I said enjoy building this build.

@@TYRYT Right now I'm just leveling up to get all the perks I'm missing. Since I leveled up as a commando I don't have the majority of all these cards, so that's gonna take a while. But I will work on it, probably start with some more simple, beginner PA build. Found one from Mr West Tek that looks pretty solid, and I'll work my way up from there.

This was super thorough man. The only question I have is what's the solution for the weight problems? I like to do something akin to a full life build and I like to use rejuvenated so i carry a lot of food and run into issues with weight alot.

Don’t hoard items is the solution I go with. Carry what you need, store what you don’t, drop what you really don’t.
