Fallout 76 - Enclave Data Center Collector Review - New Camp Resource That Collects Electronic Parts

Update Dec 22, 2024; There appears to be a misconception of folks thinking that this Enclave Data Center is a Collectron Station. That is not a true fact. They are different items in game. Yes, We have a Collectron Station in game that collects electronic parts. BUT that is a Collectron Station. It has a robot or a robot dog, etc that goes out and return to the station and fills the box with electronic parts. I can assure you, that this Enclave Data Center is its own item in game. This Enclave Data Center only collects electronic parts, and just a camp resource collector. It is not considered a Collectron Station with the robot. I have a camp and I tested it out. I have both the Collectron Station that collects electronic parts, and this Enclave Data Center at the same time in my camp. Just letting you know and clearing the air so to speak. Thank you all❤❤❤

Nice job. It is good to have a cam resource continuously collecting electronic parts for circuits, silver, copper. Worth it. Collect from it every 30 minutes or so, or every day. It will add up. Thank you.

Agreed. It would be nice for a way for use to put these camp resources in shelters. There are some Camps I visit, where all they have is a shelter, decorated all out. Some day maybe. Thank you for the mention.

@@BM-PC_Gamer Im gonna guess and say that If we had 1 in the shelter and 1 in our normal camp that would be a no no in their eyes lol but we should have the option of where do we put it. So I'm sure thats a coding thing they don't wanna do.

@@BM-PC_Gamer You can't put resource generators in shelters because they generate resources over time and when you leave the shelter time inside the shelter stops. There are obvious ways around this, (see for example how time "runs" in the Fallout Shelter game even while you're not playing it) but they can't be bothered doing that.

You might be able to pick some of it up from a junk extractor. Other than that, I think it's more unique. Some nice items it collects for sure. Very Useful. I don't think the bundle is, but this item by itself is. Thanks again my friend.

Aside from what Jim mentioned maybe there's a bit of overlap with the FETCH collectron but I can't say no to those lights and the display so I'll have to pick this up too. I just wish it also provided fiber optics.

If I remember correctly, the fetch colectron lets you select "electronics", but what specific items it collects I don't remember.

I too am a fan of this item. I like the circuits, silver and copper. Definitely worth it. You never know what the shop will yield. Sometimes, I find Bethesda trolls the comments section on the channel it feels like. You never know. LOL.

That is a great question, and I feel that some folks think it's the same thing or a reskin of a collectron station. This camp resource is its own item. It is not a collectron station. The collectron station is totally different than this item. There are several different types of collectron station in the game that collect various types of junk like plastic and electronic parts. But this item here, is just a typical camp resource that collects electronic parts. The collectron stations have a robot or a robot dog that goes out and collects and comes back and put it into the little box associated with that stationary part. I have a collectron station in my camp collection various things in addition to this item in the video at the same camp. Great question. I hope that helps. Thank you.

It is a good resource collector. We can always use electronics, especially circuits, silver, etc. I'm sure it will be in the shop for a few weeks. So plenty of time to decide for sure. Thank you.
