Thank you so much for the mention, it means a lot to me. Like many other players, camp building is a labor of love and one of the biggest factors for player retention. I found this spot the day the map expansion was released and I instantly knew I needed to build something there. The idea of a cultist ritual site was the obvious choice given the mysterious nature of the “floating scythe”, and it’s been a steadily evolving build since my initial post to the FB camp page. I’ve since maxed the budget and I’m happy with how it turned out.

I found this day one as well, placed my camp module and was surprised it work. I have a bad feeling it won’t stay in the game. I started playing after the show, love building. Found a cool ‘crater’ that looked like an ant hill pretty much at the bottom of the map. Built a really cool base, took weeks to build collecting the items from events. With the skyline update, Bethesda decided to remove that crater and move all the land around the location down. My whole camp was floating! I couldn’t even reach it. Crater was gone too which was the reason I built in the spot. Now I’m afraid to build anything near the borders -.-

Ever since I saw a video about the boarded up house with a dog in skyline valley at the bottom of the map, i moved over there and started building up my 4th camp location. Some spots on the map are absolutely beautiful, and when paired with free npcs to wander around your camp, it really adds just a bit more life to the camp. I can't resist using the atlantic city fog weather control station whenever I build the camps though. best way to make good lighting imo

The floating scythe, especially in combination with the other floating cans, make me think that there is supposed to be some sort of farm house, that just didn't spawn in correctly. The scythe would be hanging on the wall and the cans probably sit on a shelve.

So I accidently found a nice spot that has a cave you need to go underwater to get too. Go to Camp Liberty and behind the island there's a waterfall, at the bottom and to the right just swim in underneath, it IS buildable and I have it set up to look good with the abandoned mineshaft shelter entrance

My friend did and I went into the lake to see if I could place something for him saw a female mannequin I believe it’s a reference to the lady in the lake and saw fish too so was swimming to see anything else and found it it’s a pretty cool location

It's no achievement but it's a good location to know.

i made out two things from the Mole "Take this!" and "I'll kill you!" From time to time I can make out something the mole miners are saying, but its not really that interesting. the bucket was for applying glue and water to the shed. what's even more disturbing is that that poster shows moe holding a kid up by the back of his neck. in a normal context it would be an irritatingly old fashioned discipline of an errant child. but we find it next to three graves, which makes me think our friend the mole killed children. If he's a psycho childkiller then it makes sense that bathesda wouldn't show his victims straight out. Bathesda hates showing dead kids.

Have you seen the The Electrician random event? It's a guy with a tesla rifle and I think he's wearing a hard hat and goggles. He was being attacked by Blood Eagles when I found him, so I saved his arse. He didn't have anything to say after that and, after I tried interacting with him a few times, he disappeared in a lightning bolt!

This may be a far fetched idea/theory as I am stretching a bit here, and also it seems The Mole was just added as a fun Easter Egg…. but I wonder if this is a sort of Fallout version of The Bunnyman and the Bunnyman Bridge tale where a Bus carrying Escaped Patients crashed, resulting in a interesting discovery at a Bridge, and a few years later, reports of a man in a ‘Rabbit Suit’ wielding a Hatchet started popping up. Might be a coincidence but I found it interesting nonetheless.

Someone else has more than likely mentioned this already, but I believe the brush, bucket and glue was in reference to the way ads and posters used to be places, a person would use the white paste like glue in the bucket and brush the wall and the place the poster upon it, like wallpaper was once placed, the same for early billboards.

Seems obvious to me. Someone glued the mask onto his head, he's gone mad, and there's nothing in the Keep Out shed because he got out somehow, that's where he was being kept.

Want to Find a other cool secret. In sky line vallye climb to the top of the gas tower on that gas pump location and you will find a sniper who aimed his sights at the presdents camp side. I feel like I might be the first to have found that secret, sow go check it out bro. Ps you need a jetpack.

There is a guaranteed random encounter at the three ponds location where the mole can be found at a camp.

that scythe is a part of a prefab building that is meant to be added or wasnt added but not removed. the outer areas of skyline is the remnants of their testing area outside of the dev room but they probably forgot to take it out so with all the videos showing these things they might not exist after the major bug patch this coming tuesday.

the outfit is always there...always has been as far as i can recall..kinda hate that this dlc brought attention to it because that hat/head thing and the clown outfit are my go to skin...i change it up, but i always go back to the clown costume and bloody mole head... :(

I didnt mention the Psycho Mole before, but at 3 ponds he was right in the middle in that camp with the tent. He was there when I first got there to place my CAMP. He was red and started attacking me. It freaked me out.

Overgorwn are literally just feral ghouls, super mutants and floaters... I swear the mutant slayer effect works on Overgrown Elders... At least it felt like it was.

3:28 I mean, you can translate most things that mole miners are saying. It is still English, just very muffled. Used to use stealthboys and hide among them to listen to their dialogue. They’re still very much human under there. Mutated yes, but human. They’re vengeful though, for how they were treated leading up to the bombs drop. How the strikebreaker robots were called in and used against them and their kin. How they were forced to seek shelter in their mines. That said, some still mention stuff about needing a smoke or missing coffee.

Hi question: I first played 76 back when it first came out and hated it because of like hackers or just spawn campers. Is that still an issue? And does the game still heavily rely on people having friend groups? I would really like to get back into it but was discouraged being mostly a single player gamer due to not the greatest internet and the trolls

There is also 3 npcs pretending to be Bos wandering around. That you can talk to and hear them talk about getting money for protection from the locals.. Anyway I asked a few questions and they turned aggressive and didn't find out where they were going because i inadvertently killed them lol.. Never seen them again. Lots of new stuff very cool. Weird stuff, does anyone know what's the deal with the event dangerous pastimes and neurological warfare I been playing all day today server hoping now and then and neither spawn at all anymore and haven't heard anything official about the events being taken out or possibly put into rotation I'm not sure if they may have taken out neurological because of the Gamma gun glitch or people aren't launching nukes there but it's also weird that dangerous is not happening either as it was pretty consistent before they completely took out the pickaxe then updated the game.

Neurological warfare is triggered by nuking the observatory, so it's dependent on players to make it start. the other is a normal event, and it does look like it's been removed, as I was playing for about three hours yesterday, and didn't see it pop up once. Hopefully it'll be back soon.

If you go to Rapidan Camp in the new region and dive in the water you find a dead vault dweller stuck in what looks like a collapsed tunnel with brightly colored beta fish swimming around the area

Not 100% on The Mole, but... that's separate/unique audio different from the standard mole miners. After playing it back several times, I THINK some of the things include "take THIS!" "ahh, you die!" and... something about bones, perhaps? That one was even less clear though. It does seem like someone could likely clean it up and determine what he's saying. I don't have the DAW software installed at the moment that I'd need to even try... Edit... I hope I'm wrong here but the closest I can hear is "I'll dine on your bones" - yikes.

The Mole isn't the only unique spawn in Skyline Valley, there's also the Electrician a friendly spawn that you might encounter fighting other enemies in the valley. The strange thing about the Electrician is that after the fight is over, he disappears in a bolt of lightning kind of like how the synths teleporting in fallout 4.

The three graves represent the three OG devs that quit/retired/were bullied out of Bethesda after the Microsoft acquisition. They made the map, story etc and were the glue and had all the original vision for 76. They were locked in a shed in Austin and essentially murdered by the CEOs and all of the micro transactions. Cryptid hunter lore says that in the shed is the remnants of mod support that was promised in 2020 at games conventions.

@RandomBattlePresents... go to the first location he starts at and go south by south west and you will find a farm. There is a destroyed barn in the back and close the the barn further south you will see a swarm of bees use vats to locate them. Near the bees is a camp and a trapped miner.

I've killed that guy twice already. I have a camp planned that is outside the map in the south. Found it that you could walk south of the map. My hunting lodge camp used to be literally at the bottom of the map. Now it's basically the gateway to the new part. Not many had camps down that far when the new map opened up. I turned on that camp and sold things out of my vendor to almost everyone that jumped there to walk the new map. I was wondering when there would be a KZbin video on this fact.

Whilst the Skyline quest was pretty crap, at least in so far as how we got to interact with it and the final fight was naff (Not the World Boss fight which is pretty good, once they fix the gamma gun thing) with a dismal 1 event and 1 full side quest, the new map whilst disappointingly small has fantastic environmental storytelling at the locations (For brevity, I'm including notes and terminals as part of environmental story telling when they technically aren't) including nice little hidden things, They really did well on that.
