@@lheurech yeah, I have a PA heavy gunner build on one character and that constant spin up sucks. I get that it helps for balance but possibly at the loss of other legendary effects like lower weight or slower wear it would be a nice option.

indeed realistic spin-up would be really nice, which in case of minigun's spin to shoot time would be instant,, also 5mm bullets wtf? lol even most airsoft pellets are 6mm,, larger caliber minigun for Pa use (25-30mm) would also be nice.

It's annoying in events. Where commando builds basicly have an aimbot and you have to spin up and aim. Everything is dead before you get a chance to shoot.

@@OnlineHipHopTV as someone that changes play styles you're absolutely right. You have to keep tapping fire to keep the barrels spinning just in case. My bloodied commando just hops VATS targets and tags away. For PA I have taken to using the Cremator just for the area damage. Even then I've had entire mobs decimated before the fireballs even land!

The blinding effect is quite reduced if you switch off the Grenadier perk.

TBH i wished instead of removing legacy's, they just did this change to start with. Having a %explosive effect that divides itself over all projectiles a weapon fires is much more balanced, and much more enjoyable for all.

I had one of the OG legacies vampires explosive with the beam splitter it was so OP but keen to try this version with explosive on

I run the gun as bloody*, Explosive **, Durability 50% brake less, it would brake to fast, on queen event, it broke once after 3 loads of 500. So a total 1500 before it was broken.

I've got an unbreakable pair. I wouldn't use gatling plasma if I didn't.

Gauss mini gun shereds a bit better but at the cost of ammo also on the other side you get better accuracy

Been waiting for this one. My own gatling plasma destroyed the Storm Goliaths when I did that event, albeit mine had Anti-armor instead of Aristocrat's like yours, but it's quite the gun nonetheless

I've tested a bloodied explosive and a speed one. It's quite the same. I don't notice any difference in the damage. The only good thing is the area damage, so you can deal more overall damage.

Just got my BE -90w put together. It's a ton of fun for event tagging, but I haven't UC'd mine, as I have no idea how to make that ammo yet lol. Though I might just Vampire everything I own cuz why not? Lazy immortal build lol

You can get Ultracite Plasma cores efficiently just from running the Atlantic city Expedition or Daily Ops. For Daily Ops, just have the weapon in hand before the boss dies. For Expedition, just switch to the weapon after you defeat the 2 brothers and before you talk to Lennox to exit it. Each Daily op/Expedition will reward you with 4 UC cores/run, among other things...Beyond that, UC cores will also drop as contextual ammo, just from killing mobs, the Scrounger perk card in Luck might help with increasing those chances as well. In a day or two you'll have more UC cores than you'll know what to do with it, so there's no reason to hold back with Priming it, since ammo is very easy to come by this way. Power user perk card in Intelligence also doubles the number of shots you get out of each core.

Nice. I got an Aristo explosive from a drop the day after the update. Haven't tried it yet. Also got a B E ultracite gatling laser a couple days ago, that's a weird gun with the field of green beams every time I move a little. This gatling looks a lot nicer to use.

I didn't think the heavy gunner perk cards worked with explosive weapons? Did they change them?

That applies to natively explosive weapons like missile launchers and grenade launchers, not the explosive legendary effect.

Yes, we can say that it is a very powerful weapon. But when I played yesterday, when I shot a V.A.S.T. guy very briefly, the AP suddenly went to zero. Will this be fixed? It consumes a lot of AP.

Not sure since I haven't tried it. I usually have more cores than I know what to do with, so I don't use Power User.

Like you and most players, I also hate the spin-up time ! I thought since they've added the legenday mods and a build your own Legacy weapon plus with the AP getting cut 50%+ in the Dec. update I said what the heck..... the problem I have is that I have... ( also big cuts with the LMG, Mini Gun, 50 Cal. & Plasma Caster ....and I have some sweet 3 stars of all those weapons ... V.A.T.S city here we come ) Aristocrat's (Explosive) Gat Laser w/70+ Elec Damage & 180 FR Or Bloodied Gat Plasma w/140+ Elec. Damage & 90 FR I do have a few good mods like... Bloodied, 2-Shot (☆) [Plan] 25% FFR (☆☆) -25% AP (☆☆☆) I never use these weapons again because of the spin-up... so should I just go with the Laser because its already explosive and I can add bloodied or two shot and the -25% AP ( that I alredy have ) Or Do I wait till get or find an explosive mod out in the wild for the Plasma ? My main weapon for 4+ years was the Railgun but since they took a bit of the bite out of that I've been checking my other weapons. The Plasma Caster is hitting hard once again ! I also have a sweet Exlposive V63 Carbine and the rest of the pile of Quad Explosive Handmades, Fixers and Railguns. The problem is I'm carrying 30+ weapons because on me they weigh 2-3 pounds each but in the stash box 15-25 pounds ! I've scrapped plenty of good legendary weapons but I'm not scraping weapons that are God Rolls or very close..... not when the mods are dropping out at a 1 in 100 pace ! Wow that went off the rails and around the world.... any help with the plasma vs. laser fight would be great... just think if they were set up evenly ( because of mods/damage/firerate) does one have the advantage over the other ?
